I had crawford as the favorite vs spence but now I see it as 50-50. Gotta judge em off their last performances. And Crawford had a little struggle vs benavidez, who's a worse fighter than mikey. That shoulda been a dominating performance for a guy considered top 3 p4p. But still I think Crawfords speed, footwork, and counterpunching are gonna give spence some issues. And Crawford knows how to use angles beautifully. That's the real fight to be made. fukk Thurman. Have that shyt in Dallas or Nebraska. shyt would be wild

i said something to that effect a little back. you remember when trinidad fought hopkins? people figured trinidad would knock hopkins out. that made the most sense. nobody figured hopkins would try to box him. the point of taking on the spence fight seemed to be that mikey garcia could use spence's aggression against him. not playing into that role for garcia made that whole house of cards fall down.

Nail on the head bro. Spence came out & fought a totally different fight & kept Mikey in check by controlling distance 99% of the time. I also think Garcia tasted the power & didn't wanna open too much & get caught with something either. He definitely kept his hands in his pockets & that's credit to Spence's game plan

Thought the same thing. Bud struggled at first because of Benavidez's length...pause. He had to adjust but even then he still had some issues landing his normal shots at times & he'd have bigger issues against Spence using his jab from the outside. But Bud can go southpaw & that definitely changes the complexion of the fight. Not to mention his overall skill level & when it comes down to it Bud's got that dog in him. He's pretty mean in there & at some point there would probably be a war of attrition between them

Even an old Pacman is a beyond solid win at this point and Pacman would be a look Spence has never seen, plus if he beats Pacman the exp gained in that fight skillwise alone is going to his skill level along with his draw.

how do you like a pacquiao fight?

I definitely don't think it'll be a domination like everybody else. Pacquiao in his last 2 fights has looked great. His speed in the broner fight was reminiscent of the cotto days. And he's constantly moving. I think Pacquiao woulda slipped a lot of the punches that Spence threw last night. While spence has good speed, it's not great. And he telegraphs some of his heavier shots which will give manny plenty of counter punching opportunities.

I think Spence will have major difficulty with pacs speed at first. And I dont care what anybody says. Pacquiao has a skillset that will give every guy at 147 a tough time. I think it'll be a super close fight with many hard rounds to score. Manny trying to deal with spences length and spence trying to deal with mannys speed. Manny can't be doing all that lunging shyt cause spence will make him pay. And if spence squares up like he tends to do, manny will start to light him up in quick bursts and steal rounds. I personally see that as a great fight. But I favor spence and his length to keep manny in check for 7 out of 12 rounds. No knockout. Mannys defense is underrated.

I'm a big Crawford fan, but Spence will be too much for him, I hope he avoids that fight lol

Bud is there to be hit, and I personal don't think he could take Spence's shots and not get hurt.

thats a fun fight. i like spence over pacquiao also. if spence tries to keep pacquiao out on end of his punches and box like he did to garcia, it will be harder to do that to pacquiao just because pacquiao throws a lot more punches and is a lot faster than garcia. meaning it will take more work so to speak just to try to always keep him nullified throughout each round. spence showed a lot of tools against garcia but shutting down pacquiao like that would really test his boxing. you cant cleanly outbox pacquiao unless you can really really box. thats a good test for him.

spence showed a lot of versatility against garcia whereas the style he showed against his other top opponent kell brook he was marching forward with the high guard much more. when spence squares up and marches in with that high guard he also gets hit more. that makes me wonder how he chooses what style for what fighter. why he chose that style for brook, instead of the one he chose for garcia etc. i feel that against crawford and thurman, he would try to do what he did to brook, try to wear them out and grind them down, but with the same drawback that it leaves him more open. i dont know if his boxing is at that level that he would try to go skill for skill in a long range shoot out type of fight with those guys and still be able to come out on top that way. that would be playing their game. and i dont know if the version of spence that beat brook is as good as the one that beat garcia, if i am making sense.
