RIP MR. SMOKE
I give mikey credit for stepping up and believing in himself. I give him credit for having a solid chin. But as far as his performance, that shyt was embarrassing. Flat out. He said he would do whatever it takes to win, but after the 3rd round he just gave up. Barely threw anything and just stood there with his hands up. Can't even give him huge credit for the chin cause he braced himself for every shot. He didn't wanna trade because he didn't wanna get hit with a punch he didn't see coming. He refused to take any risks at all.
We've seen mikey look shaky in the past when faced with adversity, but last night made it official. He's not cut from that cloth. Mikey was in a situation where he had to go all in and instead he just accepted defeat. You can't call somebody out and then perform like that. If we're gonna shyt on broner for not throwing and just fighting to survive we gotta shyt on mikey too. fukk a moral victory. Great fighters don't fist pump just cause they survived a round
He showed some heart early but once he knew spence was too much, he quit. And it's not like spence didn't give him chances. Numerous times spence would square up and give mikey a fair shot to attack and mikey was shook to death. There was really nothing redeemable about mikey's performance. He got schooled, embarassed, and showed no type of grit whatsoever. He asked for this matchup, and he needs to be judged accordingly. That shyt became sad to watch after a while..
