When the police arrested the Muslims and had them all in the courthouse. Something popped off, and the police drew on them... and started shooting.

there was a time when the Honorable Elijah Muhammad was holding a meeting in Flint, MI and the police came and demanded to be admitted.

They told the police that they didn't allow weapons into their meetings, and that the only way they would be allowed to enter was if they removed their firearms.

The police decided they were going to come inside anyway.

The Honorable Elijah Muhammad wound up calling the meeting off... and he said the only reason he called it off, was because the women and children were there. But he said if they hadn't been there, he and the brothers would have, in so many words, went to war against those cops right then right there.

Again, that's just another lie (one of many) that was put out there by the FBI and other government agencies to try and discredit the Nation. If the Honorable Elijah Muhammad and his followers had, in any way, been involved in illegal activities, the government would have came in there and shut them down with the quickness and arrested everybody.

They were trying to figure out a way to shut them down already. If the Nation had involved itself in ANY illegal activities, that would have given them the excuse they were looking for.
