Demographics have changed but Richton Park, Park Forest, Matteson, and Monee are still quiet communities even if crime has increased from the 80's and 90's.

If Rich South is ghetto, it's because of the families that have recently moved into the communities within the past 20 years. The communities are still quiet though and nothing like 79th St, a few blocks from where this crime took place.

Rich South/Crete Monee schools are $$$$ , but Richton Park/ Park Forest are no where near the status they use to have. Property taxes really fukked Park Forest up.

Only a person with no morals, or common sense goes out to rob people for a damn bbq. This is the United States. All of them could have gotten a minimum wage job, and bought some food and drinks. I’d almost say they seem slow for even considering this. All of them probably were raised with no example of work ethic, or value of life.
