It is...nobody gave a fukk about this album when it dropped. Dozens of other cd's were copped at the time, literally no one gave a fukk.

These revisionists have yall thinking that jiggaman ran shyt. He never ran shyt in his career. Ever.
I may have been too young to witness the hype during that era , but I know damn well everything your saying is outlandish :pachaha:

The album with the single "I Just Want To Love U (Give It To Me)" which was probably the biggest single that year , no one cared about . :comeon:

You are 100% correct.

Nobody cared about an album that went 3x Platinum, had huge singles, and features classic album cuts like This Can't Be Life, and Dynasty Intro.

Still play some cuts from this album time to time...

Dynasty intro (STILL the best intro ever), Change The Game wasn't bad, I Just Wanna Love U, Streets Is Talking (underrated song, Beanie Sigel SNAPPED at the end of this), This Can't Be Life, Stick 2 The Script, You Me Him Her, 1-900-Hustler, Where Have You Been, were all solid.

Couple things:

Those "facts" we're boring as fukk and no one cares.

2nd, Roc was NEVER looked at as the GOAT clique at any time in their run. There were always cliques that were highly regarded.
nobody was bigger than the roc at the time, stfu

That song was only a hit cuz of the Neptunes and cuz Jay bit Biggie on his opening bars. It was a good song but def not anything like a shut shyt down single of the year at all lol. I was there breh.

Damn. Never heard that one. Definitely most of the beats with that sample seem to be a flip on the more obvious part. Like that and then these.

prod. Alchemist

prod. Crada

prod. Fatin

But Bink definitely has the most creative flip of this sample ever IMO. Just finding that out made this article dope. Beat was so fresh the Rocafella crew rapped on it again
