Yall really think program building in college football is easy, huh? Jimbo Fisher and Texas A&M had one of the best recruiting classes in history just a few years ago, and they got nothing to show for it.

Deion is ahead of schedule, but he still has a LOT of work to do.
shyt i remember when your school was hot for a little bit in the early to mid 2000's getting ahmad brooks and them and just balling out on the recruiting trail and still nothing big came of it. use to have higher ranked recruiting classes than va tech, but they just had better player development under beamer. shyt is hard work and luck because not every 5 or 4 star is gonna pan out.

Yeah, look at what Florida State just did or USC. It's all about the transfer portal baby. Time for Shedeur and Travis to recruit their friends to leave their programs to join dem buffs

Yeah you're definitely clueless :mjlol:

The only recruiting advantages that Deion has right now is TV exposure, playing time, and himself. Blue chip programs like Oregon and Georgia - the schools he'll have to fight for recruits and transfers - got better players, better coaching, more success, more money/boosters, better facilities, tougher schedules, and longer resumes of sending kids to the NFL.

He can do it, but it's gonna take a while. And of course he might be better off leaving for FSU or Miami in 3-4 years anyway because turning Colorado into a blue chip program may not be possible.

Oregon is not a blue-chip program. Stop the cap. They choke on the big stage and they won’t be there for a long time going through murderers’ row in the Big 10 with real blue-chip programs yearly like Michigan, Ohio State, USC, and Penn State. They’ll drop a game or two to the Wisconsins, Nebraska’s and Iowa’s of the world.

You left out Coach Prime has one of those gold jackets you can’t buy. He actually accomplished what the recruits are after. Everyone knows Colorado’s weaknesses. Coach Prime said it before the season started. However, the “blue-chip” schools were able to tell recruits that CP don’t know what he’s doing, he’s new and unproven, etcetera. The mystery is over. They know, if they convince some dudes in the trenches to slide over to Boulder then it’s a wrap.

Oregon has Nike backing. They're blue chip. I don't see how you think Penn State is blue chip but not Oregon. Oregon's played in a BCS title game. Penn State hasn't.

A gold jacket means he had a great career as a player. What does some blue chip offensive linemen care about a DB's career from before they were born? Coaching is an entirely different world.

Again, not saying Deion will fail. I want him to shake the table. But it won't be microwave.

Doesn’t matter the position, my dude. Penn State won nattys and Oregon hasn’t and never will.

Nike is at a bunch of schools. They have Phil Knight as an alumnus but if he ain’t paying them boys huge annual salaries then what does a pair of shoes matter?

I'm a diehard Clemson fan and will say that if you don't see the significance of what Deion is doing as a black man, then it's on you. Not the people who do. :manny:

If the offense can somehow regain the form they had against TCU then that USC one should be a damn good game.

Oregon isn't blue chip blue chip. Penn State is more blue chip than Oregon because of A) historic success and B) because they're on the east coast and enjoy media attention/coverage.

The Penn State brand of football and level of competition is also just more respected.

Oregon has the brand as a soft, finesse football program that chokes, and they've never really put that brand to bed. All of the old PAC teams had that except for USC (and Stanford for a while).

Oregon ain’t no fukking blue chip lmao … why you think Lanning was so thirsty to capture some of that attention off of Deion? most east coast people don’t even stay up to watch them nikkas…shyt Colorado has more national championships and the same amount of heisman winners as Oregon :mjlol:
