Deion will be in the mix for the chip next year if he can get an O line.
Lol no he won't.

Colorado needs a defense too.

Building a championship o-line usually takes at least a season of playing together due to the nuances of blocking schemes and being familiar with the QB's cadences and calls.

They could be a real force with an improved O line, as soon as next year, but it'll take a few years to build a contender at Colorado considering where they were when he got there.

he hasn’t, he’s finishing his degree now. But, a hofer coaching your line could draw in recruits on the line possibly.
I think it could help, based on his record. But there will be a learning curve for him as a coach. Doesn't always translate necessarily.

Even Deion had to get a few years as a coach in the HBCU circuit before he was taken seriously by recruits, and also the use of creative NIL deals at Jax state helped him get Travis Hunter and other big recruits.

the 2pt conversion stuff is accurate because i remember when scott frost came to ucf he did that shyt all of the time. but faking it at your 20 or whatever is just straight up "i don't even respect you because if we somehow fail it won't matter because you all are bums."

Oregon did a fake punt from their own 25 on the first drive of the game against UCLA when the Bruins were the #12 team in the nation. And that was on a 4th-and-14 too.

The did an onside kick early in the 2nd quarter last year, which is almost the exact same scenario but even more difficult to pull off, when UCLA was the #21 team in the nation.

In 2016, Oregon was a bad team that finished 4-8. Colorado was ranked #17 in the nation. And Oregon still ran a fake punt from their own territory in the 2nd quarter.

Last year Oregon was playing #25 Washington, tried an onsides kick in the 2nd quarter, failed, and lost the game.

Counting yesterday, that's 5 examples of them doing that shyt in the 1st half from their own territory against ranked teams, and 3 of those examples are in the last year.

Has nothing to do with respect, it's just how they play to win. Most of the time, it works.

Oregon did them dirty with those 19th century lockerrooms :heh:

Shít look worse than what they had at JSU

Goddamn. Lockeroom looks like a Jim Crow era police holding cell where a breh gets arrested and dies under “mysterious” circumstances

Not really, lanning is aggressive period, that shyt cost us in Oregon st game, and one more, i think Utah, i can’t remember, when it works, it’s great, but when it fails, man it’s bad, this ain’t some blk vs white, this just his m.o.

I think I have adust this great post. Yes people hate winners. But they hate and despise a BLACK WINNER. Nobody has even thought about Colorado until Deion got there. Only the people who really followed college football knew that Colorado was actually good 30 years ago. Deion in less than a year has EVERYONE talking about Colorado. People who don't even football bought "We Commin" T shirts. :dead:

Now mind you. This is only year one. He's way ahead of schedule.

The difference between Oregon and Colorado is Colorado will thrive and actually be a contender. Oregon will be the same ass Oregon. Basically the Buffalo Bills season champs, just the college version. :yeshrug:

Colorado would be lucky to be Oregon in 2-3 years. They've won 6 Pac-12 titles in the last 15 years. It's not easy for a West Coast school to beat Ohio State, Clemson, or SEC powerhouses like Bama or Georgia.

Yall really think program building in college football is easy, huh? Jimbo Fisher and Texas A&M had one of the best recruiting classes in history just a few years ago, and they got nothing to show for it.

Deion is ahead of schedule, but he still has a LOT of work to do.

:mjlol: folks fandom of prime, got them jumping out the window on takes, it’s kind of hard to take these conversations seriously or have real discourse, because people in these threads, are so extreme, with narratives, takes or analysis
