What?

The #1 reason most voters say they chose Trump was because of the state of the economy....

Well I pray you and his constituents get everything he puts in place and more. I hope
Trump does everything he is looking to do. You all deserve it more

Inflation is coming down and the economy is improving. By the time Trump gets sworn in things may be improving significantly. Trump will take credit for it just like he did with Obama's economy and his stupid followers will eat it up.

Only changes i've noticed recently was that everyone expected Trump to get back in and bring down the fed rate allowing companies/businesses easier access at borrowing money to increase hiring/spending. And im just seeing that as of the last two weeks.

The last two years specifically been hell for people trying to find work. Why was nothing done about it during all that time?

Things take time. You cannot turn an economy around in 2 years. That's why America never fully learns from its mistakes of electing Republican presidents. Democrats constantly have to fix their messes and when people feel things aren't improving at the rate they'd like they vote in another Republican. Rinse, repeat.

There were no issues with jobs, hiring, spending in 2019-2021 though. In fact it was a lot of "over hiring" and not being able to fill positions. The downturn didn't come until 2022.

An economy can come down in 2 years but not turn around in 2 years?

Yes, and that was right around the time the inflation surge started. It was a worldwide issue that stemmed from a lot of issues from supply chain disruption to flat out price gouging.

And yes, it takes more than 2 years to turn around an economy. Economic forecasters said we were headed for a major recession but thankfully avoided it because of Bidens policies.

Butch Ware is a Green Party member, of course he's gonna say that.

It's naive to think that either party will be doomed for more than 4 to 8 years at a time.

Especially if Republicans can't generate enthusiasm without Trump on the ballot.
I wish it was true

I feel like what sucks about this era is that because of money nothing will ever change but for the worst

Yes avoided. It could have been a lot worse. Prices are coming down. Housing prices are still out of control but that requires a different set of solutions.

Tim Walz governs over a state with good salary/housing cost ratio. You can rent a brand new luxury apartment in downtown Minneapolis for less than $1500 a month, partly a result of the city/state's pro housing construction policies
