With Katrina he said he was tryin to let the governor and mayor lead the way after speaking with both and use him for assistance with whatever they needed. GW Bush Jr was an Angel compared to trump. Dubya had his faults and was an average president at best, but at least he wasn’t a racist, criminal, entitled, petty, pervert, mean-spirited, failure, corrupt, egomaniacal narcissist unfit to be elected president and govern a country like trump is. In a fair, sane and decent world, Trump doesn’t belong in politics. He doesn’t have the ability, experience, poise, intelligence, required and necessary knowledge, tact, wisdom, assurance, credibility and the gravitas of a true statesman. He carries himself like a bully and a big loudmouth clown, and many people mistake that for charisma, strength and authenticity.


Pre-trump/maga GOP of the 1990s/2000s/early 2010s was very different from the gop post 2016. It’s night and day literally. Maga gop is openly fascist/racist, meanwhile the old gop tried to be respectable, inclusive, professional and colorblind-conservative. MAGA GOP is intolerable and unacceptable, while the old GOP was at least acceptable and tolerable. They didn’t deviate from normalcy, continuity and democracy unlike trump/maga. You Notice that the old establishment republicans like bob dole, John McCain, Donald Rumsfeld, mitt Romney, Jeb bush, bush senior and junior, dill cheney and Condoleezza rice/colin Powell never fukked with trump like that and actively distanced themselves from the maga cult.

Its soul crushing. The best we can do is survive these next four years and hope the elections in 2026 and 2028 will be legitimate and fair. But we just voted in an actual fascist regime whom I doubt won't go out their way to make elections less fair and transparent to cling on to power going forward. By voting for this man or not voting entirely, millions of people may have put us all in a position where civil strife and disobedience is the ONLY means to move past this.

Countless lives are now endangered unnecessarily. They're endagered because of the actions of 1/3 of the electorate and the other 1/3 who're walking around this bytch completely fukking clueless and don't vote. MAGA isn't the majority of the country. They are a minority. But because roughly 80 million eligible voters don't vote in this country we are in this predicament. Think about that. 80 million fukking people.

A lot of those 80 million people are poor and suffered regardless of who has been president. Trying to motivate someone with $10 in their bank account, childhood trauma from poverty and abuse, and living worried about making it to the next day by saying they need to vote against a “fascist” (which an extremely small percentage of people still living have actually experienced) isn’t going to work.

I know people who are doing well financially and have zero interest in voting.

If someone doesn't care about social issues and their life is going well in terms of financial stability, I can see why they wouldn't care about voting.
