Coastal town? You mean sundown town? Old Dems aka Dixiecrats which was the hop back in the day until the party switch?I'm went to this coastal town for 4th of July. Them nikkas been democrat since 1988. these old trump supports came on the side of the bridge with trump flags. And damn near every car that went over that bridge hit their horns cheeringso if a small town that's notoriously voted blue is feeling like this then.....

He had a following and votes from young blacks and Latinos. The issue was the majority vote black which is older people. Those older people received their news from mainstream media. And those mainstream outlets like CNN and MSNBC basically had an anti Bernie campaign. You seemed to had received your information of his policies and campaign from there too since you are stated he was peddling white grievance politics.Bernie won Iowa and Vermont IIRC but, he performed horrendously in South Carolina and had a slightly better performance in Nevada but, it was still lacking. He basically performed strongly in white regions but, couldn't connect to minorities. Which adds up as he was peddling white grievance politics, just doing it on the other side of the aisle from Trump. It's sad you're still this butthurt four years later. It's not Biden's fault that he was a safer pick for a national election and it's not Biden's fault that he spent 30 years networking with everybody in Washington while Bernie spent 30 years criticizing everyone who didn't pass his liberal purity tests.
