Listen, obviously I’m bad at conjecture or else I’d have totally seen this coming, but Trump is their Obama imo. He’s a singular force. Something about that dude moves people in this dumb ass country. People literally voted for Trump while voting down ballot for dems in some places. The second he’s removed from the equation, the republicans are going to have to reckon with the state of the country he’s leaving. If he enacts his objectively terrible policies and the country does go to shyt, what can Vance run on? Unless Trump sends checks again, they don’t have a way to continue to galvanize their base in 2028. (This is all assuming the very real reality that he doesn’t repeal the 22nd amendment of course).

It’s fukked up, but if I’m the Dems, I’m not resisting shyt. All I’d do is prop someone up who can effectively put Trump’s stamp on the next 4 years. This is Trumps economy. Trumps healthcare. Trumps education system. And not in that condescending, dunk on you way either. And then actually run a candidate who isn’t talking out of two sides of their mouth.

Vance being made King by Trump forever stamps him, thus he can be seen as the "unifier" of the nation being that his tone is much more calming than Trumps which will enable him to work on behalf of those who choose him.

But it’s the powerless who fuel him. I think people were genuine when they said the economy is why they voted for Trump. No matter how misguided they were, the democrat rebuttal was to chastise them for being stupid and touting shyt that doesn’t affect them. Unless Trump can turn that around, going completely against everything his side stands for, we’re likely to be in a worse boat in four years. There’s no amount of king making that can sugarcoat that shyt. Or else Trump would have won in 2020.

Those muddafuggas had a full blown fugging NAZI rally in Madison Square Garden and they talked about putting people in concentration camps and shyt like that, but dumb ass people that voted for Trump can't see themselves as being someone that he would put in those camps.

You know abortion was not the issue, because States like Missouri and Nebraska passed amendments to their Constitution making abortions legal. People that voted for Trump don't have any idea what he and people like Elon Musk have planned which is laid out in Project 2025. They are about to gut the Federal government and all of the protections that you thought you had (Medicare, Social Security, etc.) were just an illusion. Elon Musk even told people to prepare for pain, but goofy White people don't think that he meant them.

You better go look at the numbers again. 60% of voters voted based on wanting a change in the economy!
