This is the Democratic Party in a nutshell.

Throw marginalized groups under the bus to go chase Republicans and rural whites who wouldn't piss on you if you were on fire. :wow:
Yep. We have room to grow and cultural congruence with rural whites. Arabs and muslims aren’t allies of the West in general. Time to stop lying.

And we said this after 2016 as well.

Shyt got fccked up for people to come out in 08 and 2020.

Like you said Dems. will bounce back, but the question will be how fccked will the climate be by midterms 2026 and Election 2028

You sure there will be an election ever again in America? These MAGA fukks are determined to be in there for life.

Messaging. Really comes down to that.

Dems suck at it altogether, but Biden especially in his condition wasn’t fit for the moment in that regard. A smarter party would have had Kamala stumping for him biweekly on all the Sunday shows. “This what we did for yall. This what we’re trying to do next. We got you.”

Dems always afraid to go real radical left.

I’m with progressives on this, I would like to see a scenario where they really went crazy progressive like the opposite of a trump type candidate. Nominate Elton John or some shyt :mjlol:

I feel like I've been hotep pilled :russ:
I've voted in every election I've been eligible for but I'm now starting to question the point of the whole process and the mental/emotional investment. Black men really don't have a welcome place in the political process, just by existing we're a handicap on the success of whatever party we latch on to. If you attempt to give us a tangible benefit, we view it as pandering and the whites view it as diluting their brand. We're in a really wild position.
I keep circling back to how I would vote if I was white, without my biases, experiences and feelings as a breh, and the logical part of my brain keeps landing on "yeah, I get why Trump makes sense". The Dems have been running on this platform of compassion since Barry, but why are we expecting the majority of America to have compassion for issues that affect us or any other marginalized communities?

David Brooks ain’t that guy and the quote still isn’t true.

Trump has an Ivy League VP and the Heritage Foundation running his policy. That’s literally what people voted into office. Since Bush 1, we’ve only voted in intellectual rulers. It’s not a true statement at all, and if Avid Rooks wrote it in the Gotham City Herald, if you read it, you would dismiss it.

And I resent the sneering. I’m more of an angry nerd. Im happy with that. I’d rather not be a faux aristocrat like you've chosen to be on this forum.

It's true of Vance, who is similar to DeSantis. But they didn't really win shyt. Could Vance win a general? Maybe.

The quote is not about some absolute of no Ivy League, it's about the intellectual culture left/center left/ center right. Bernie Sanders does NOT fit that either. It's not just the education it's their communication. The insistence on civility. On high mindedness. On intellectual values. I think that's very true. Harris is less of that, but because she ran that playbook....I think it probably hurt her. It's the language and communication style. W Bush for one....Yale educated, but that's not how he talked.

and that's probably the most insulting thing I have said online in 20 years, because I think it's some p*ssy shyt.

Damn, that would've been a lot better than, "We're not going back.":wow:

“people” only do this when they have motivation to do so.

Again i’m not accepting ignorance when bigotry is right in our face :stopitslime:

The middle/working class chose Kamala. They also chose Hillary. They both got clapped up.

It was a concerted effort. Prob all the right winged media apparatus which includes podcast and streamers

I'm fully remote as well but I had a few meetings today adn coudlnt do it.

Yeah, generally I only have to go to the office once a week and went on Tuesday so I'm remote rest of the week.

I feel for brehs having to deal with obnoxious MAGAs at work right now.

Why are white women going online talking about 4B this and "this is why we chose the bear" that like a majority of them didn't vote for Trump three times in a row :dahell:

And this was all after:
The "grab her by the p*ssy" tape
The E. Jean Carrol trial
Roe v. Wade being overturned
Trump being exposed for hanging out with both Epstein and Diddy

Yeah I don't want to hear shyt from white women :camby: they need to check their family members instead of being on social media

What "transformative" legislation do you think Obama should have and could have gotten passsed? Be specific. From day one Republicans adopted a policy of full-throated opposition and were willing to fukk the country over to increase their chances of regaining power.
He had 59 senate votes, he had the house and a swing court. He is the first POTUS to have they strong of a mandate since Kennedy.

He could have done more on health care with the public option, actually use the TARP money to bail out homeowner, push for a fairer tax system And many more things. And he should have called the GOP crazy for not supporting him since he had the mandate.

Instead he operated in the Reagan world and squandered it all.
