there's a difference between unjustly locking up kids selling weed, and locking up people stealing cars from working class families :yeshrug: fukk the latter group. peoples' patience has run out with that

you wouldn't feel that way if you were getting a new striker every month

The campaign funds raised by that point in time could only be used by Kamala.
Dems would have come up with most of the rest of that money. and in the end, the money didn't do shyt
Basically asking a candidate to develop a war chest and define themselves in 3 months.
easily done in the smartphone era. the governor of the biggest state in the country would not have trouble coming up with a campaign personality
Why do that when you can see that she potentially loses and you can participate in a 2028 primary?
NO POLITICIAN turns down a guaranteed nomination for a 50% chance at being president. newsom or any of them would have snapped it up. i can't believe you guys are saying this with a straight face :dead:

"yeah, fukk taking a free nomination to run against the worst republican in modern history. i'd rather fight 10 other guys in 2028, where no one knows what will happen". like, what the fukk are you talking about? :laff:

Seem like the democratic party has to take a hard look at how their policies like crime (decarceration, open-air drug markets) and immigration (migrant housing) really pissed a fringe voters in urban areas. But unfortunately, with the crime part, I feel like it'll only contribute to more brehs getting locked up.
They called me a Republican when I said all of this.

You can’t be out here running with a record that you’re giving violent criminals second chances to commit more crime

Democratic Party voters are primarily party partisans - been trying to people that for years. It’s not in anyway reflective of how a general election will go. So “party people” get institutional support but that doesn’t mean shyt in a general election, which is about people who are not diehards. Is it any surprise that Democrats last two, two-term presidents were not who the party was lining up behind (Clinton, Obama)? The one thing Republicans get right is that they go with where their voters are going and ride that wave.
DNC had hand picked their person in every election post 2008 and act like we’re supposed to be okay with that.

The reality of the truth: SHE COULDN'T

Biden sabotaged everything.
:hubie:. You'll get no argument from me. You know I got all the smoke for that old b*stard.

Biden even endorsing Kamala the way he did was nothing more than a last "fukk you" to Pelosi for pushing him out, because Pelosi wanted an open convention. :francis:

DNC meddles too much when it comes to the nomination. Change the rules to favor super delegates or go a certain Primary path that creates an early lead.

Yeah that's my opinion as well. It's one thing to not vote for Kamala. You can abstain, even vote for 3rd party.

But if you go out, stand in line and cast a ballot for Trump in 2024 after covid and Jan 6, Kamala was never reaching you in the first place.

Exactly and I'm not here to dunk on ultra progressives but they had a hand in this too. For years they have been on that same "both sides are the same" bullshyt and it has effectively KILLED their own agenda...

Progressives just shot themselves in the foot, their ideas are completely dead. The country just chose the candidate who wants to take your rights away.

Also.... this is where some progressives failed. They are supposed to be able to reach the young people on college campuses right? Well...they didn't. Instead it's Joe Rogan and those types who have reached the young radical white males.

Gavin was just waiting for the call.

Ultimately this was Biden's fault. He pulled out too late in the game. Dems didn't want to risk alienating the black voting by tossing Kamala to the bushes and with 3 months before the election, logistics would've been tricky. Didn't want a clusterf*ck at the convention either. I also think Biden went rogue declaring Kamala the heir apparent right away. If ya'll remember Obama was one of the last big Dem names to throw his support behind her. Think he and Pelosi wanted to go in a different direction and were trying to figure out how to make it work behind the scenes.

This was the Dems short sightedness in full view. Everyone was screaming that Joe was too old to run again 2 years ago. Why did they wait 3 months till the election to finally force him to step down when everyone else saw it a mile away. It was political malpractice.

It was the same shyt with Hillary in 2016. Majority of the regular voters was not enthusiastic about Clinton but they forced her down our throats and we got 4 years of Trump as a result. It's the same shyt again.

I've been noticing this for a while now. A lot of Gen Z spit out right wing talking points under the guise of 'progressivism,' and that's to say nothing of the outright right-wingers who probably follow people like Adin Ross, Sneako and Logan Paul.

I'm not even necessarily saying it's their fault. We see that it's actually very easy to get indoctrinated with right wing media, without even realizing it's happening.

It's their fault for being dumb and it's progressives faults for not reaching them.....
