In the agreement, Flynn pleaded guilty to one felony count of "willfully and knowingly making materially false statements and omissions to the Federal Bureau of Investigation" about conversations with the Russian ambassador to the United States, Sergey Kislyak, "in violation of 18 U.S.C.

Re read all that recently, the Flynn case, and that's one of those examples of a case that really probably should have been not prosecuted. Not saying I like Mike Flynn, he's a weirdo. But, that case is close to as politicized as it gets. Remember following it in real time was so interesting and captivating, all of that era was, but some of those prosecutions were really thin.

And the Trump admin probably tried, or did try to retaliate, but indicting Andrew McCabe. Greg Craig is another on that was referred by the Special Counsel that was probably way too thin for prosecution.
