Free school lunches are radical but its absolutely fine that firearms are the leading cause deaths for children and teens.

I think Rubio could because he might be able to peel off additional hispanic support.

I was talking about people who could actually win the GOP nomination. Not fringe people like Vivek, Tim Scott, Pence who wouldn't even be in contention. I wouldn't count out Lyin Ted.

-Ron DeSantis could beat her. A lot of people think he's done as a Presidential candidate but a lot can change in a few years.
Desantis career after being governor is over lmao.

You mean 2032… Harris has the power of the incumbent now…
Unless Kamala gets in there and is woefully incompetent & unpopular, you don't run the risk of trying to primary an incumbent. Ya'll gotta remember how hard for an incumbent to lose. Trump was terrible so he lost, and people were concerned Biden wouldn't make it a full-term, so he dropped out. Part of why Harris has the momentum she does now is because the Dem party is in lockstep in supporting her. It would require a lot to go wrong for any Dem to stand a chance against her in 2028.

He's going to run in 2028. It's common for someone to run, then run again and become the nominee.

Reagan ran in 1976. Lost in the primary. Ran again in 1980, became the nominee and won the election.
Bob Dole ran in 1980 and 1988. Lost in the primaries. Ran a final time in 1996 and became the nominee.
McCain ran in 2000. Lost in the primary. Ran again in 2008 and became the nominee.
Romney ran in 2008. Lost in the primary. Ran again in 2012 and became the nominee.
Clinton ran in 2008. Lost in the primary. Ran again in 2016 and became the nominee.

Now, someone will obviously say "but all of them lost but Reagan". That literally means nothing. Once you become the nominee you automatically have a chance to become President.

I wouldn't count him out. A lot of things can change.

Desantis will be ice cold in 2028, he was 24 or bust. but we're ignoring the obvious Glenn Youngkin choice. he'd beat the fukk outta Kamala in 2028 :dead:

BUT maybe not. maybe kamala really does preside over 4 years of inflation coming down, economic success, and wins handily as an incumbent :ehh: that's possible too

if she wins, and oversees some kinda crisis, yeah. i wouldn't have high hopes

I had Youngkin and Kemp in my original post. I'm just not sure they would be the nominee. But I agree they could beat her.
