Dems refused to vote. Trump didnt surpass Bidens vote. The base is big enough...we have to drop the brain dead dead weight like the Gaza crazies who think a bad deal is better than a no deal. They are crazy and cannot be reasoned with.
It will get Dems to win the independents Trump won. This is a center right country now. It's not Obama's America anymore.
We'd be better off dumping people like you, stopping this subservience to Israel, and getting better at agenda-setting and framing to counteract right-wing disinformation and fearmongering about social issues. This party is dead the second it starts dumping vulnerable minorities for the sake of political convenience.

Social issues isn't even why biden Harris lost, they lost because biden was considered incompetent to every day Americans. Americans felt more well off under trump, and that's the story. Biden was too busy bragging about unemployment numbers instead of sympathizing about the cost of living

Connect these dots for me because what I dont understand is how does the Dems dropping lgtbq and those that oppose Isreal get the Dems that stayed home to vote?

Dems don't need voters who sabotaged us twice so far in 2016 and 2024. Fukk them.

Makes better sense to focus on the center of the country and working-class Americans (read: white men).

Most people care about their wallet. They don't GAF about trans issues, Gaza, the Dems "backstabbing" Bernie, etc.

Trump never fully comes thru on his promises tho. He said he'd build a wall last time. He put up a copper gate with big ass coochie holes that wobbles when the wind blows too hard
He said Mexico would pay for the wall. The Mexican president clapped back and taxpayers ended up paying for what was actually built

But hey man identity politics was the problem, not the fact biden was unpopular and she ran a pro wall street campaign

Read Adam Jentelson's piece in the TImes.

I think the price gouging message could have got her over the line. She started off so strong with that. "Prices are too high. I know it and the American people know it"

Maybe I'm remembering wrong, but wasn't he obligated by law to continue building and restricted in redirecting the funds?

Texas sued him to build more in August

So the second article is confirming what I was saying initially, right? That he was compelled by law to continue building?

"Biden issued an executive order on his Inauguration Day to stop construction of the wall that Trump had made his signature project and redirect the money allotted to the project.

Biden later acknowledged — while the suit continued in the courts — that his administration was required by law to continue certain wall construction projects because congressional funds had already been appropriated.

“I tried to get … them to reappropriate it, to redirect that money,” Biden said last year. “They didn’t. They wouldn’t. And in the meantime, there’s nothing under the law other than they have to use the money for what it was appropriated. I can’t stop that.”

It’s confirming but it’s not, which is why I showed the first link from last year.

Biden continued building the wall because of the immigration surge in 2022 and 2023. He waived EPA regulations to build another 20 miles.

The lawsuit last year was specifically about Texas wanting to build more.
