You obviously haven’t been listening. Check his game logs. That comp wasn’t as great as you think just cause he was in the SEC. 38% of his passing TDs came in noncon against the likes of Grambling, GA St, and Army. The only team he played in noncon he got a ton of his stats was FSU cause his team was getting stomped out and garbage time. Played poorly vs Bama and shootouts vs a bad Ole Miss defense and Mizzou. Maybe he is better at the next level. But this one year doesn’t trump the previous 3-4 yrs of bad tape I’ve seen on him.
Bruh I listen to tons of shyt on the draft. No one thinks what you think about him. Sounds like ur trying to paint ur own opinion as the majority

And professionals don’t agree with your opinions and I’m gonna trust them and my own eyes over some random person on the Coli :heh:

That’s not an NFL problem. That’s a failure to develop at the collegiate level issue. Despite the numbers, a cat like Jayden Daniels is still a one read and run QB. These cats aren’t reading defenses beyond the DE crashing down or sitting on the QB on the option. Hopping around and not being in a system for 2+ yrs is also an issue at QB more than other spots.
But it is an NFL problem. It's addressed at other positions. How many college programs have elite o-line coaching besides Iowa, Wisconsin, Arkansas and a few others? How many college pass rushers come into the NFL with more than one move? How many college tight ends (outside of Iowa) come into the NFL with good blocking technique? Bad or incomplete college coaching is expected at every position, yet NFL teams are able to develop those positions in the league. Why is that.

I understand QB is the hardest position and there are only a few guys on the planet who can do it on the NFL level. That doesn't exist piss poor coaching, or the way we've decided that being a good coach means grinding 12 hours of tape but not being able to teach players how to do shyt.

It is an NFL problem. The job of college coaches is to win not to prep players for the NFL.

A big part of the problem is that NFL coaches have caught up to offenses. They’ve shifted to smaller defenses. A lot more speed on the field. Teams are doing a much better job of disguising defensive coverage and blitzes. Even veterans have had some struggles which is why scoring was down across the league. The smart coaches dumb down the offense and introduce more and more slowly as the QB gets more comfortable. A lot of coaches are stubborn and just have the mindset that the system is the system and that players should adapt to the system.

This tape of Daniels against Bama is an honest review of him.

There’s more DBs on the field that at any point in history and the coverages are more complex.

You don’t see nearly as many wide open touchdowns and coverage busts as you say in let’s say 2007
