I know a lot about cars. Just because I didn't know Mercedes new cars are inline 4s don't mean I don't know about cars. And i stand corrected, a Mercedes inline 4 today won't run with a Mercedes V8.
I like power. I'd rather have the Durango because of the power and performance whereas the Lexus will just be a baller suv to cruise in. nikkas complain about plastic when i posted a picture specifically asking what plastic?

Well..that engine is an aluminum block with iron liners. It could handle more boost from the turbos if needed, but that's another topic entirely. And I'm not entirely sure that you even need to trim to get 35's to fit if I remember right.
That being said, a lot of dealers have a wait-list for the new GX; and since it's built on the same line as the upcoming cheaper Land Cruiser as well as the current 4Runner at Tahara in Japan, you'd probably be better off waiting a bit if you're serious about getting one. Hell, employees can't even lease them via the employee lease program that's how backed up production is

The problem I have with my 470 is that the larger tires don't fit without deforming and deflating them or else they rub the pan hard. In stock spare location of course.
Do I want one of them dumbass tire carriers look like a fukkin redneck...hell no...would it be nice to have my full size spare out the barn door absolutely.
I could go roof rack like prinsu and get it strapped up top but that seems like a crazy liability.
I have yet to put my slee sliders on but once I undercoat again I'll get to that.
If the 470 ever dies which is not looking likely...I think my next GX will actually be the mid generation facelift I wanna say like 2012 before I go 550

To be quite honest, the frame will probably exit the chat before the 4.7 does; it's simple to work on and maintain yourself (just get an OEM water pump/timing belt).
