I don't think Okada will announce any decision before his final match with Tanahashi on Feb 11th :yeshrug:

Breh the Joshi promotions would make Mae Young consider being passport gang. The pimping, abuse, money woes, and playing second fiddle to the male counterparts, despite STARDOM being a true competitor to NJPW, along with backdoor fan service.

The shyt is straight up brutal.
You mean Fabulous Moolah, right?

Okada would be pouring jelly on himself going to AEW :manny:

may khan would offer a bigger salary but exposure, merchandising, etc etc.

for a star the caliber of the rainmaker, hes gotta go to the E and i think Nakamura wouldve pushed him in that direction.

Prepare for a lot of ongoing Japanese defections. The Yen is very weak right now.

Lovely if you’re visiting, but to make a career in wrestling now, nah.

Chase that dollar that these companies will throw at you. Feel bad for Japanese promotions.

Yeah :francis:

shyt looking crazy over there. Hence why the promotions are forming like Voltron because equal money is better than separate and dying money.

Time for Noah and All Japan to reform. It'll be 25 years soon. They tried it alone now come back home
If that were to happen, would it be called either Pro Wrestling Noah or All Japan Pro Wrestling? I don't see Cyber Agent willing to acquire All Japan though, since they got DDT.

Fightful Select's Sean Ross Sapp and Mat Men Radio's Andrew Zarian have learned more.

AEW founder Tony Khan fueled speculation on Wednesday when it was announced....that he'd have an announcement on the February 7 episode of AEW Dynamite. While no one will confirm, it was implied that it was related to the impending appearance of Mercedes Mone in AEW. However, we were not told that her signing would be outright mentioned as a part of the rumored announcement.

However, what we have heard from numerous talent is that they've been told within the company and from those close to Mercedes that the working plan in All Elite Wrestling is for her to physically appear for the company in March, likely after the Revolution PPV. We have not been told when she could make an in-ring wrestling debut for the company.

It was noted to us that her signing or arrival was never considered to be announced this past weekend at Collision as rumored.

Sean Ross Sapp was told this weekend by numerous WWE sources that by the time December 29 rolled around that WWE knew they were out on Mercedes, and we were told she likely would have been unable to perform at the Royal Rumble anyway.

WWE sources and AEW talent we spoke to are under the impression that Mercedes has been signed with AEW for weeks. AEW has not confirmed any elements of this story in an official capacity.

:laff: it's hilarious because it's 1000% facts.

In fact, it wouldn't surprise me at if these journalist making up/exaggerating the interest WWE has in free agent talents, so that when they sign with AEW it looks like they "took/stole" then from WWE :manny:

I'm sure they fought long and hard to try and wrangle back up Sasha. But they know they don't need her, with how red hot they are. No point in tryna go all in on someone they know damn well they don't need. If it's true she wanted to keep the name mone' then the answer becomes even more obvious
