With the way he’s been jerked around since the pandemic, I don’t blame him if he doesn’t re-sign.
That roster so stacked at the top there isn’t really any room to break through, especially when they insist on having multiple part time champs with one of which has been a part timer going on his third year as the champ.
And they just brought in CM Punk that moves a guy like Drew even further down the overall pecking order.

Yes, most wrestlers have 1 year deals that expire in or after January. Some get 2 year deals.

If the puro scene wasn't so much in the shytter, Drew would be a perfect fit for a big two year run in New Japan. But unless he's willing to take a big paycut, I don't see that scenario possible in 2024
