Right! How many years ago did Bernie lose anyways?
Nah it’s just a ridiculous proxy war when it really just represents the coasts versus the south and Midwest for the most part.

I thought about it’s almost gonna be 16 years and 12 of those were ran by democrat presidents. Yet I can’t think of one landmark bill. Affordable care act helped people with prior conditions but that’s it. It was a blank check to giant insurance companies.

Bernie has probably been one of the biggest supporters of Biden's agenda.

I don't understand why this guy is getting scorn. He also out there campaigning for Dems in 8 different states over the past few weeks.
Bernie largely been irrelevant since Biden won the nom.

He's always been a company man so he was always going to fall in line.

The Bernie chapter refers to his acolytes, I'll include you in this group, that believed he was going to Usher in tea party esque movement that was going capitulate the Dem party and usher in a period of radical transformative change across the entire American landscape.

End of the day pragmatism held and now we can stop with all these pie and the sky ideas and focusing on improving the lives of Americans that falls in like with the realities of the political landscape.

Nice deflection though.

The Bernie campaign was a cluster in 2020. I don’t dispute that. He’s not a great manager or recruiter.

But his runs for POTUS did activate many young folks to not be as apathetic to politics. It helped get more folks involved.

And those runs changed the imagination of what was possible. The fact that Biden has gone big on several things is due to that energy.

You can hate the guy. That’s fine. But he’s had his role.

@FAH1223 please stop responding and giving this dude attention. This is a dumb ass political take that doesn’t deserve a response and it’s in poor taste. He should be appreciative of you because all of the other prior mods would’ve tossed this shyt in a troll thread.

Just merely pointed out that 2022 midterms show the balance of power of the Dem party seems to be safely in the Obama/Biden wing of the brand.

And as I stated originally that was a fear many folks had on 2016 if Hillary had won.

I know the smilies get folks like @No1 in his feelings, but it's a fairly standard observation if we aren't rewriting history.

The push to unseat Schumer and Pelosi have also quieted down compared to previous years.

Republicans didn’t learn a damn thing. What we did learn is that Nap and everyone that spread the ‘go woke, go broke’ message doesn’t know anything about todays world and are out of touch.

Why is Biden significantly more progressive than Obama? It doesn’t make sense on the surface but we all know this to be true. Don’t say ‘congress’ because Dems had a super majority Obama first 2 years.

I think you'd have to prove this claim.

On the surface much of Biden's legislative agenda is just a furthering down the path of incrementalism.

They're pretty much a wash on their approach to immigration, foreign policy, healthcare, and green energy initiatives largely coming from tax credits and subsidies.
