From what I understand, Trump wanted more money for actual physical infrastructure in the potential bill that was being talked about in Spring 2020 than what's in this current BIF. Like I said before, some of the stuff in the BIF (i.e. Remaking the suburbs, gender identity nonsense, driving tax, & etc.) would be a no go in the previous 2 congressional terms.

Nah, you ain't quite understand that correctly. Trump "said" he wanted a $1 trillion dollar infrastructure as a campaign promise and before he even stepped foot in the WH his other boss in the Senate, McConnell told him forget about it off the rip.

If he truly "wanted" that, he'd of made some type of effort outside of lip service and tweets to get that done. It was just something he said because someone told him it sounded good.

This is not the contested issue you think it is, outside the right wing bubble. You lost the issue. Get vaccinated and stop whining. That's the message the majority of the country is sending out to a loud minority, so deal with it.
