If the gop had better candidates they could have won the senate. Places like Nevada and New Hampshire want GOP for governor, but dems for senators.

NH i dont think is so much candidate. if anything sununu is a particularly strong candidate for governor. but they have a lot of voters who want to vote for the republican state party but dont want them at the federal level. also why republican govs can win in mass and vermont
