Remember when WWE was hoarding talent and everyone was like WWE needs to trim the fat? Remember when people lamented the lack of 'deavors? At least now these people have some viable options.

There’s a difference between releasing talent that they’re not using and releasing talent that were recently used on TV.

That will be his downfall

Hence why Vince was like:

R.e005e9911ae391b89cfb1dc781050b68

"So you want to sign ALL the leftovers pal? Good luck pal:mjgrin:"

At the end of the day, don't think about your rep, but more of your financial strain. Tony wants to make every Tom, dikk and Mark happy, instead of realizing why "endeavors" are a thing on a financial business level.

Business dog, nothing personal:wow:

Companies like WWE and Disney has done a great job of extracting money from nerd culture. That has nothing to do with the fact that millions have quit watching. Raw thread used to be 1200-1500 on here, now it struggles to get 300 replies. They’ll have to deal with their aging fanbase one day, but that day isn’t today.

Disney is finding other sources of revenue and WWE is as well. Adapt to changing of landscape, which is the exact reason that Khan was brought in. Look at the bigger picture instead of focusing sorely on TV ratings and what's going on with Coli threads. Khan and Vince are obviously well aware of the aging fan base, which is the exact reason why they are doing the youth movement to help bring in young viewers.

People just want something to complain about IMO.
People tend to overlook the fact that they don't make any money from the PC and not that much from NXT, yet they still hoarded talent for years.

Nick Khan was brought to correct problems that Vince allowed for years to happen in being wreckless with their spending.

Yeah I'm still :dead: Vince fired the 2 people that said it wasn't a good idea to hoard that many talent.

so he literally used these people and is now celebrating "record breaking profits" I think Austin Aries even said he was making double in the indies than what he was making in WWE even with a mania appearance

Hoarding talent never made any sense from a financial perspective and especially locking them into long term contracts at above market rates. If you look at WWE is doing, it’s similar to what ESPN is doing in trying to correct the problem they had for years in overpaying and hoarding talent to keep them from the competition.

The irony? Nick Khan was involved in both situations a lot of those CAA talents benefitted from that overpay.
