Who the fukk releases people on a Thursday night
I’ve been pretty whatever when it comes to the releases so far, but this just feels weird to me at this point. I don’t watch WWE TV weekly so I don’t know but did Hit Row even get to do anything at all after being called up?

Whether or not this is a political hit, an extreme cost cutting measure, or them trying to flood the market with more talent than these other companies can afford, all of it feels very strange. I would love to hear a reasonable, logical explanation for all of this from somebody on their PR team because I’m at a loss trying to figure out a spin they can put on these releases at this point

This is why people should rally behind other companies, and said companies should try to put their best foot forward for those fans. The WWE should not be to be all end all company that people sacrifice a lot of stuff for. Need some big money folks to be involved with Impact, MLW, NWA and HOG.

I don’t think that WWE is that top destination anymore. Wrestling is more accessible than ever, and yes while other companies don’t get the number of eyes on them that WWE gets, you can absolutely make a name for yourself in and out of the ring without stepping foot in a WWE ring.

Thank goodness for AEW, NJPW, MLW, GCW, Impact, HOG, PWG, and AAA, these guys will find a home.

Vince has released a Wu-Tang's worth of dope Black talent in the past year.

A bunch of them should click up - with the right people involved you could make a collective that draws from the culture in a genuine way, and market it in the vein of a group like Bullet Club

That would be a dope concept if someone ever did it.
Could even call themselves The Culture.

Problem is...WWE has Wrestlemania.

Wrestlemania is the pinnacle of what a wrestler dreams of and no other wrestling company will probably ever be able to capture that feeling/desire to anyone in the business.
