I really hope this gives TNA, AEW, MLW, NJPW and some more indies the chance to balance out their rosters. The monopoly that Vince had is slipping, and the performers aren't dying to be a part of the company any more. The next 2-5 years will be very interesting. I don't think WWE is growing with their audience. They don't have a great online presence. The app isn't the greatest. They throttle their "independent" contractors online earning potential. They are also trying to dictate to the fans what they should like. They need to get their shyt together. But fukk it when you're making record profits right?:martin::manny:
That's not just a WWE problem, no one is growing their audience anymore. Did you see the ratings for this week's Dynamite? 878k with absolutely no competition is disastrous. Impact/NJPW/MLW don't even register in the top 150 and that doesn't look to be changing anytime soon. The sad thing is that we'll bytch & moan about these releases and be tuned into Smackdown tomorrow.

That's not going to go over well if there's any truth to it, because it's basically saying vaccines only matter if you're a jobber or a lower midcarder.

How did you get that from that tweet? :dwillhuh:

I'm pretty sure most of the top talent is vaccinated, especially the ones who went to Saudi/UK..

They're growing their business. Overseas mostly though.. But they're not growing with their fans. They're stuck with a bunch of senior citizens who they know what younger generations want. If they're not selling anytime soon, they are in a transition period for sure.

Only in India though with a recent tv deal. The BT deal in the UK has been a disaster and they still dont have a live TV deal in the middle east for over 2 years after OSN dropped all sports (which had been a sweet deal for them as the Network was available both to stream and as a cable channel and Smackdown/Raw/NXT was live)

This notion that they tell people they are growing their business is kinda BS and you can tell from where they can or cant tour. They'll always have Europe (certainly the UK) and Saudi but the other places are gonna be interesting. To be fair a part of that is pandemic reasons too but yeah
