Honestly the team’s composition is horrible if we’re being honest

yeah they’re talented dudes, but they’re all mostly one dimensional scorers. No real defenders or playmakers

it’s like they randomly put guys together without caring about fit :francis:
They playing basketball like it’s 2K Rec. Offense discombobulated as fukk.

Defense and playmaking. USA has enough scorers.
They really only have 2 bigs though. Zions an absolute monster of a human being and FIBA rules and refs allow for stronger guys to hack, set crazy screens, camp in the lane, and body ppl.

Not saying he'd start but he'd be more helpful than love and a few of the end of the bench perimeter guys

but who could they choose whose not already there?
They have 3 guys who were all nba defense this year :jbhmm:
Holiday and Middleton joining later should help. A healthy AD would've have helped. Really all the starpower that should be on this team are feeling the effects of the crammed season and injured.

who would you have picked?

Not saying I could do better but they needed more balance

PGs: Trae/Dame/Fox (or even Lowry)
SGs: Beal/Jaylen Brown/Brogdon
SFs: Tatum/Middleton
PFs: KD/Zion
C: Bam/Mitchell Robsinon

That was Off the top of my head, but that would provide a roster with playmakers, scorers and a defensive balance.

Center was the hardest, but Mitchell Robinson is a good paint presence and can get easy blocks and lobs

edit: I think Jaylen brown might be injured still
