Making excuses for this roster when there are three legit Top 15 players on here is a joke.

Went away from Tatum when he was cooking, played Kevin Love for some reason, ran iso plays for fukking Darius Garland and Jeremi Grant. Grant is an inefficient bum who can only put up numbers on a Top 3 lottery team and Garland is a fukking Cavalier.

How the fukk are there Cavaliers on this squad bro? A Piston too? nikkas haven't tasted victory their entire NBA careers and you want them representing US Basketball

Team usa lost in 2003 and they can lose this year but they are the heavy favorite. There is more nba level talent on other teams but team usa is still way more talented. If team usa losses then it's on them for not taking it serious enough:hubie:

Breh NBA all’s stars can’t beat some scrubs from Nigeria ?

I mean the US literally fielded this team today

Bam Adebayo - nba all star avg 19 and 9
Bradley Beal - nba all star 2nd in the league in scoring at 31
Kevin Durant - nba all star, nba league mvp, nba finals mvp - avg 27ppg and 7 boards
Jerami Grant - avg 22ppg
Draymond Green - defensive player of the year, first team all nba defense, all starr
Zach LaVine - nba all star avg 27 a game 50% from the floor 41 from free throw and 85% from the free throw line
Damian Lillard - nba all star, one of the most clutch players in history, 3rd in points 7 in assists
Kevin Love - washed but a former all star
Jayson Tatum - 10th in league in scoring avg 27ppg

Ultimately this is good for the growth of the sport

Nobody was taking Basketball as an international sport seriously when the USA was clowning teams

We went from having CP3 & Kobe as our guard defenders with Wade off the bench to Dame and Beal defensively…:mjcry:

The US down the stretch had Tatum, Durant, beal/lavine, lilliard and draymond green and still couldn't get it down

How the hell isn't that the best of the best :dahell:

Nikka no team is sending their BEST players, nigeria doesn't have anunoby, dinwiddie

Stop playing dumb, nikka. You know exactly what I mean.

Beal is like the 4th or 5th best American at his position and he’s starting and closing out games. 2019 team had Kemba as the go-to-guy down the stretch and he wasn’t top 5 at his position in the country.

If Team USA had everyone from their talent pool available, how many players on this roster would make the team?

I wasn’t even talking about this game specifically in that post, nor was I saying that they don’t have enough talent to win the Olympics this year with the roster they have. The discussion was about the talent gap between the US and other countries and what the long term outlook could be. So again, were you reading to comprehend or just looking to argue?
