So it looks like USA's quarterfinals opponent could be:

Germany
Italy
Argentina (unless Japan upsets them)
the loser of Slovenia-Spain

Even though they ain't group winners, none of those are pushovers. Crazy how many solid basketball squads there are out there now.

I don't think they can play the 3rd place finishers (Germany or Argentina) because they finished 2nd in their group. It's basically Italy or Slovenia-Spain loser.

This Spain-Slovenia game gonna be interesting. I think Italy gotta be the hope for the first game because Spain or Slovenia for your first game in the knockout round is
