USA Basketball is in shambles right now.

The women's team were easily beating Australia in the first half. However, in the 2nd half, they started playing sloppy. Too many turnovers (largely due to terrible passes), too many missed shots and Dawn Staley hasn't coached well at all so far. Also, Sue Bird is washed - she and Taurasi shouldn't be on the team.

They better get it together quickly

Part of me low key wants the US mens team to lose just so that its illustrated on a world stage that the NBA's soft officiating isn't good for the league or the game. I'm not the biggest fan of FIBA rules but I love how physical they let the game get, and how out of the way refs keep themselves.
