Miami is just a failed franchise. For a hot minute they had Reyes, Stanton, Anibal Sanchez, Zambrano, and Fernandez coming up, and a new ballpark. Yeah I know some of these guys were past their prime, but they had something to compete with.

They gave Reyes that contract like they were gonna build something and immediately aborted the project the next year

They also got 2 chips since we got our last one and roght now they have a talented young roster they just got to learn how to win. Wouldn't throw rocks at them.

I feel you, but I've always had a disdain for the Marlins though. It's like they won 2 chips against their will and went right back to losing. While the Mets try and try and always fall short.

We are in a very tough division. Besides the Marlins every other team has owners that are on the top tier of wealth:
Braves are 3rd
Nationals 5th
Phillies 12th
So for the Marlins to have 2 chips in the span all of these have won 1 and the Mets have 0 is an accomplishment.

OK even if they are I'm sure the franchise is worth a billion give or take. It will take a billionaire or a billionaire type organization to buy them.
