fukk outta here with this trying make it seem like Stafford has been done dirty all his career.
That shyt got old real quick.
Nobody gave af bout this bum til he requested a trade now it's all pity for him.

You either elevate the offense or you don't

Lol I don't think anyone is saying dude is about to be a world beater but some consistency and stability will go a long way. We seen how it made Goff look for one year. Personally, I look at it like this. You got top 10, then 11-16 (which is where I would place Stafford), and then you got the rest of the mf's rounding out the bottom (see Goff). Not gonna hurt going from bottom 16 to mid tier. :manny:

You think Watson would actually sit out a Year? This shyts unprecedented that a Top 5 QB might get a trade request granted or sit out a full season in their prime.

It'd be stupid on his part, the bolded being the most important.

First, the daily training-camp fines would become mandatory for players operating under their second contracts. That’s a huge difference, given that most teams usually wipe the slate clean once the player reports. So when, for example, a player incurs $40,000 per day for staying away from camp for 10 days, the full $400,000 comes from his pocket, and neither he nor the team can do anything about it.

And forget about $40,000 per day. Second, the amounts of the fines would be “substantially increased.” The specific numbers aren’t yet known.

Third, the player will lose an accrued season toward free agency by failing to show up for camp on town or by leaving camp for more than five days. This would supersede the rule that removes an accrued year only if the player fails to report within 30 days before the first game of the regular season.

I hope he gets his way but he has 0 leverage other than he'll fetch them a ton of picks

I’m gonna say this, ALL of the Belichick slander is gonna bite everyone in the ass.

People are forgetting Tom had the top scoring defense on his side last year and many of those players opted out this year.

The Pats admitted they literally didn’t have the money to pay anybody. Cam only got a million. But look at their cap for next year.

Unfortunately they’re gonna be a force again next year. There’s too many great free agents this year and Belichick is still one of the best coaches.

They'll be more competent next season but I dunno about being a force. I'm flipping their 7-9 record around for '21.

Exactly. To have the record that they had was a miracle. They didn't even have a NFL worthy QB on the roster.
Beli winning with Cam and Sean P winning with Taysom are the two best coaching jobs of the past year idc what anybody says.

Pats still gotta get a QB. was wondering if Stephon Gilmore could be used as trade bait to get a QB for them.

honestly what is the qb list out there for them
Kirk Cousins
Deshaun
Jimmy G
Jameis?

They could easily grab a Mac Jones who's been getting rave reviews at the Senior Bowl :manny:.

I just did another mock draft simulation that had Zac Wilson, Fields & Lance still on the board at pick 15 :mjtf:.

In any case, they have options. The ones you mentioned where they trade assets for a "proven" commodity like the Rams did but judging from The Hoodie's comments on Kyler's last year, I'd expect them to grab someone in the draft:

“It’s certainly changed the roster building a lot. Teams that have had young quarterbacks that have been productive have been able to take those resources and put those into other positions on the team and then once the quarterbacks hit their, let’s call it, close to market value-type contracts, then that process shifts a little bit in some way, whether it’s cap borrowing or just less spending on other positions because you reallocate it to the quarterback.

Question is will he try to get cute again and grab somebody in the late round or just take the damn talent on paper and try to mold it.

Real random thought but Sean Payton is still the biggest bytch in NFL history. That onside kick to start the half of the super bowl against the Colts was straight coward shyt. He knew Peyton was gon go right down that field and at least get a field goal and that game would be essentially over. He will forever remain a bytch for that. fukk Sean Payton.
