Nah, Biden has the old Dems and Obama supporters. Plus he can def bring some republicans over too.

Not necessarily. Biden does have older voters but Obama voters are scattered around. In 2016 primary, quite a few Obama voters were going for Bernie especially young voters who voted for Obama in 2012 and 2008. Just cause Biden was VP doesn't mean a damn thing in terms of re-creating the Obama coalition.

Also, the myth of the Dems trying to bring over some GOP voters isn't how you win. You win in the general election by winning the Midwest and flipping the Obama-Obama-Trump voters back to the blue column i.e. that's part of the Dem BASE. These Never Trump GOP people are not a thing in real life. Trump has the GOP on lockdown all over the country.

Biden, despite his centrist platform, will benefit from the outrage to Trump and the GOP in the general since independents ain't fukking around with Trump, there's no question about that but honestly any Dem is going to benefit from that.

I'm aware of that and y'all keep bringing up that tired ass argument. Bernie didn't CREATE the bill, BIDEN did and championed hard for it. Bernie already explained why he voted for it and there were legit reasons and he APOLOGIZED for it because he didn't understand at the time what the bill entailed.

Y'all need to stop with the tired argument.

lol. I was pointing out that he signed it since everyone throws that out like it some sort of automatic disqualification, like you did with Biden. Like it was applied to Hiliary, Hillary was the first lady, she didnt even vote for the bill but got hell about it based on a comment she made. She apologized too lol. Did you forgive her? There were legit reason alot of members of Congress voted for it but are we only forgiving Bernie and no one else? Some black caucus members voted for it too, they thought it was the best solution at the time and later realized the harm it caused. Are they forgiven? Or are we just angry with the people who CREATED the bill, meaning it was wrong to single out Hilliary? I just need to know who this works. Bernie couldnt introduce a separate bill that addressed the issues he says he cared about when he voted for the crime bill? He'd been in Congress what, 4-5 yrs by that time. Think he needed more time to figure out how things worked? I mean it would have passed even if he voted no. So he didnt have to, if he didnt agree with the overall bill but was for some of the elements within it.

Edit: I just looked over your comment again, you said Bernie didnt understand what the bill he voted for entailed? But he did explain why he voted for it even though he didnt full understand it? Is that what you're saying?

Y'all are underestimating how much more powerful social media is gonna be this time. Biden is fukked because he couldn't keep his hands to himself. No, it doesn't matter that Trump has the same problem. He proved he's immune when he beat the Clinton machine.

Only real authentic genuine change can win in 2020 and that's why the candidate MUST and WILL be Bernie.

Bernie ain’t got a chance in hell. If he couldn’t beat Hilary, he damn sure ain’t beating Trump. All those young Dems cheering for Bernie not gonna show up in the voting booth when it count.

2018 was really tough for Dems as they had to defend seats but only lost 2

2020 has the GOP defending a lot of seats. I wish the Dems nominate a good candidate to take out Mitch
I received an email touting the Amy lady a few days ago. If she can’t win a congressional seat she’s not going to win a senate seat. At least that’s my thinking.

Edit: Obama lost his congressional race to only win his senatorial campaign. He was running against an industry carpetbagger though. Mitch is not playing the role of Washington General in that campaign.

I am not nearly a polo-sci major or plugged into Tennessee politics. I do know that Amy has only sent out 2 emails since her loss. But if a Hollywood actress can’t take him down maybe we should try another approach.

I dont want Biden to run. He needs to sit his ass down with Bernie.

Edit: I donated to Peter Buttigieg, Harris and Warren yesterday. I'm all over the place (smh) but I know I dont want those two running.

Bernie voted for the bill too.
It’s been interesting thus far. Mayor Pete, Yang and the young gawd Beto are my guys right now.

It’s almost not worth having a discussion with the blind Bernie Stans any more. The man literally can do no wrong. He’s held to no standard and is infallible. Honestly they are the liberal version of trump Stans

he understood, but the bill also attached the Violence Against Women Act

Bernie stated that it was kinda a lose-lose b/c they attached a really important piece of legislation that was needed for women to a problematic bill like the Crime Bill
(this is an old political trick politicians use to push forward really bad ideas)

He also stated that although he is voting for the bill, he's doing it solely off the VAWA, and that we need to be careful on how it's implemented bc it stands the chance of hurting minority communities

It really just depends on how u wanna see it. If he didn't vote for the bill, people would say he's against women.

So yes, we should give everyone a pass who voted on it based on the legitimate reason they give for doing it. Got it.
