It's one of the reasons why I'm not too invested in the presidency right now. Having a Democrat president don't mean a damn thing if the Senate is mostly Republican.

I would argue a Dem president is extremely important next cycle if for no other reason than avoiding any more far-right Supreme Court picks.

GOP Senate is going to rubber stamp any clown Trump nominates, so getting him out of office is worthwhile just to stop him from getting more picks, even if the GOP keeps the Senate.

@Skyfall you're moving the goalposts. The initial claim is that Bernie Sanders is being covered poorly by WaPo because of Amazon and then the media in general because of his policy positions that are seen as aggressive against corporations in general.

This claim doesn't hold weight when Elizabeth Warren isn't seeing similar coverage based on her equally aggressive positions against wall street, Amazon, large corporations and the 1%.

At some point you have to be willing to accept that some people don't like Bernie and it's not because of policy.

I think it won't. Bernie is famous for refusing to run negative campaigns. Warren's only real beef is with Biden, who she's hated for years. I think we could see a Sanders/Warren ticket and I think it could drive several people here completely insane.
