So Biden is basically running a Hillary 2.0 campaign. Talking about Donald Trump being immoral and returning morality and civility, coming together as a nation, blah, blah, blah, etc.

The same old “stronger together” bullshyt where Trump controls the narrative and you just react...and offer no policy proposals that excite people.

This is shaping up to be a horribly tone deaf and misguided campaign. He is gonna get that work in the primary.

Kyle from Secular Talk said the same thing.

He said he doesn't have time for Healthcare plans. Jesus Christ. :mjlol:

Called the Sanders thing ages ago. His 2016 success was largely due to him being the only alternative to Hillary. The lack of competition allowed him to suck in a variety of people across ideological grounds. Sure he has a lot of leftists...but leftists do not make the majority. Notice how many Sanders supporters would say "I would have voted for Biden if he was the nominee" back in 2016 and 2017. A lot of them liked him...because they were simply anti-Hillary and didn't really give a fukk about policy or detail.

Now Biden is running and he's attracted some of them, Warren has attracted others, etc. Sanders still has no path to the nomination. He's gonna get blitzed in the south again, and that will be that.

I mean Trump has a 15 pt advantage on the economy. Meanwhile, 6 out of 10 Americans find him generally dishonest and has worsened the country's place in the world. I can understand why Biden finds it advantageous to expose Trump's character weaknesses and to remind people how unacceptable it is to have a morally deprived pathological liar representing this country. I've been following politics a long time, it's still early for policy rollouts. What Warren is doing with policy is not normal. Biden actually has a rep as a policy buff, so I expect him to eventually move in that direction in the next few months.
