He's so tone deaf towards Black people and this is why so many of us don't trust him. The young lady clearly said BLACK people, not poor Whites, not Latino...BLACK PEOPLE.

I see a repeat of his lack of Black votes incoming. He really need to change his position because while he's courting poor and working class Whites, he's turning off the Democratic base: BLACK PEOPLE. :beli:

TBH, I'm voting anti-trump and for local initiatives. Straight down the partyline as well :lolbron:

Otherwise, I haven't felt that spark to really follow candidates, since Obezzy. :yeshrug:

Pretty sure that sentiment is fairly reflective on this forum as well.

HL is the exception, not the status quo.

I'm going bring Andrew Yang up tomorrow at work, and see if people are familiar with him. I'm not expecting much.

It's one thing to be uninformed or for people lack awareness.

It's another thing to use that as the basis for a lack of excitement.

Looking at polling numbers there are more people who are anti-Trump than pro any particular candidate. But that makes sense.

I'm still in disbelief from the lead up to the 2016 election, when every poll(99%) indicated that 45, was going get annihilated.

I wouldn't say far and away. I'm a bigger fan of hers than his but they're in the same spectrum. She is just more wonkish than he is. I don't think there's a single policy that she would pass that he wouldn't. On the flip side, I think she is more likely to compromise on medicare for all than he would be. He's also better on foreign policy which Liz hasn't focused on. Him being a Jewish guy criticizing Israel takes away the anti-semitism smears too.
