I don't see a path for Warren to get to 270 against Trump. I don't see her winning enough swing states. You cannot use what happened in 2018 as a prediction for a 2020 election map. President, Governor and Congressional races are completely different.

Partly because she's a woman, partly because she's a progressive, partly because of her voter base which isn't as diverse and big as Biden or Sanders.
warren will lose :yeshrug: its crazy that people are supporting her instead of bernie

I think more people are willing to vote Trump in 2020 than 2016. He'll have more Republicans who didn't like him at first, possibly more black men sadly, and his "silent majority" will come out in record numbers.

As I said, being a woman, being a progressive, and not having a base as diverse as Biden or Sanders is an issue.

-Edit, I'm worried about independents as well taking Trump over her as well.

If people in those states were willing to sit out 2016 cause they didn’t like either candidate, why would you think they more likely to vote Trump than just sit out again?

Isn’t the razor thin argument more for turnout than voting Trump?

my nikka you are BUGGING.

You post all this Pro-Sanders clap trap and the moment anyone challenges it, you start threatening people. I've said this is PERSISTENT proof you're not equipped to be a mod on here. You're a straight up sycophant.

He's insulting Warren supporters and I'm tired of this shyt. DO NOT GASLIGHT ME.

WTF are you talking about "post like this" :gucci:

You mad now? We cant criticize sanders? Get out your feelings and cut the sucker shyt out homie. You are in violation right now. Yall already don't let real ones like me who demand accountability from Sanders instead of cockriding in the actual Sanders thread, now you're mad not all of us are riding for this divisive BULLSH!T Sanders keeps pulling?

My dude you are the biggest shill of this commie on this forum while ignoring actual white supremacists on here if were gonna keep it a buck.

I mean she’s acting like people can’t count. Just say 6%. That’s her problem, her messaging comes off as conniving.
Just so I got this straight, you're upset that Warren isn't lying and saying her 2% wealth tax on $50M+ is actually 6%? And because she's not lying, she's conniving? Your whole damn ass is showing man.

she’s never said 6% once, not once. That’s a problem if you can’t be honest about the biggest initiative you’re proposing.
:unimpressed:

Ultra-Millionaire Tax | Elizabeth Warren

"That’s why we need a tax on wealth. The Ultra-Millionaire Tax taxes the wealth of the richest Americans. It applies only to households with a net worth of $50 million or more—roughly the wealthiest 75,000 households, or the top 0.1%. Households would pay an annual 2% tax on every dollar of net worth above $50 million and a 6% tax on every dollar of net worth above $1 billion. Because wealth is so concentrated, this small tax on roughly 75,000 households will bring in $3.75 trillion in revenue over a ten-year period."

If you're too stupid to understand there's two tiers with her wealth tax, I can't help you.

We'll just have to disagree here because every piece of research and polling I've read has said Trump is less popular now than he was on election day. His MAGA base has doubled down but it hasn't grown. The "give him a chance" coalition that voted for him in 2016 hasn't increased. I don't see how he's won over the Republicans who didn't like him in 2016 and will have more Republican support than he did in 2016.

Diversity of base is a legitimate concern, but I don't think being a woman or being a progressive will kill Warren.

Its not about just the sit out voters. Its about more Republicans voting for Trump (along with some independents) this time around. That would potentially offset this sit out voters. Trump's been in office for 4 years now. As much as we hate to admit it, there is shyt he's done that people like. Against someone like Warren with a non diverse base, this is critical.

I ignore election polls (or anything related to an election) due to what happened in 2016. They are not representative of reality.
