I dislike all those ppl, but I want shyt to get done.
Those people don’t want to get shyt done unless it’s the republican agenda. Y’all kill me wanting to keep third way ass dems in office who basically enact policies that would have been considered republican prior to Reagan’s reign of conservatism.

This is why the country keeps being pulled further right, got ultra conservative Republicans demanding dems work within right wing policy “to get things done” yet dems never get them to reciprocate. Amazing anyone under 40 could still advocate for this policy position

Does anyone truly believe Warren and Bernie's Medicare 4 all/health care would pass a Democratic majority Senate and House? It may pass the House, but it dies in the Senate.

Biden's public option plan would pass both chambers of Congress.

Most likely the GOP will keep the Senate anyway so nothing will pass regardless.

But yes, in the event the Dems win the Senate I guess a public option would have a better chance. :yeshrug:

I'm sure Bernie and Warren know that though. If they happen to have a Dem majority I'm sure they would be willing to negotiate something that could get 51 votes (or 50 + VP) rather than spending 4 years not passing anything.

The margin of error in this poll is 4.9% :patrice:Also, just saw sample has 68% of voters at 45 or older. In the 2016 NH primary exits, 59% were 45 or older.

different circumstances but Bernie outperformed monmouth's last 2016 NH poll by 12 points.

Some polling guy I follow says he has New Hampshire numbers going all way back to 1976. He says there has never been a time where four candidates were over 15% a month before voting in Iowa/NH. shyt's gonna be crazy lol

Liz's transition plan was designed specifically for this hurdle.

Biden says he’s going to work with 5-6 moderate republicans. Y’all are using those ppl as Extreme examples in order change the narrative.

Secondly, you’re completely innacurate statement about moderate policies being old school conservative policies are complete and utter bullshyt. That’s just a lie, flat out.

Third, your progressive ideas don’t dictate what other ppls progressive ideas are. And where they align on a spectrum you make up in your own head:what:

Get over yourselves.

There is no moderate republican, centrist dems are what moderate Republicans once were. Nothing about my statement about the rightward shift of America is a lie, you’re either uneducated on the topic or refuse to believe that the Reagan, Bush and Clinton administrations moved the republican and dem parties right, the tea party moved the Republicans even further right.

The widely accepted definition of progressive (in the US) uses FDR’s policies (and policy ideas spanning back to TR, even tho he wasn’t successful in all of them) as a reference point, so no, this isn’t a “my progressive idea can be different from your progressive”. If it’s too radical for you, cool, but progressive policy is pretty well defined.

.
i have far more respect for biden being realistic about having to work with republicans, than liz and bernie insulting my intelligence by pretending they can push M4A through the House when they wouldn't even be able to push it through the establishment in their own party

biden is in general election mode, not democratic primary mode. and you can say what you want about that, but the general is the endgame :yeshrug:

this is a master class. PAY ATTENTION

No it wouldn’t. Are you kidding me? It would die in the Senate.

Well I’m not a white progressive. I’m a black progressive. We have completely different ideologies about progressivism. I’m not a trickle down progressive.

Again your idea about what centrist dems are YOUR ideas.

The Democratic Party shifted more right over the pst few decades. Jesus wtf are you talking about

From what basis point Jimmy Carter:russ:

The southern governor from Georgia was more progressive than Obama and Bill Clinton? :mjlol: You’re just making shyt up at this point.
