Lost the electoral college and it wasn't even close. That's all that matters.
Actually it was close. 80,000 votes across 3 states changed the electoral map, while she won the popular by 3M. We live in a country where 3M more people can vote for you, but not having 80k in the right states negates what 3M more people voted for

306 to 232. That's all that matters. She probably wouldn't even get 210 this time. :mjlol:

I remember thinking back in 2016 that Hilary could run again in 2020 and beat Trump. What was I smoking.:mjlol:

Exactly. Also, the Electoral College was made to protect slave states. It's an outdated institution that needs to go away.

It was literally made to protect a small but vocal minority of Americans and it's still doing that nowadays. Interesting that it's protecting basically the same people. Southern slave owners and white indentured servants are now the CEOs of big companies and white working class voters especially in the South and Midwest :sas2:.

Additionally, every election in this country is decided ONLY by the popular vote. Yet, somehow making the Presidency be voted on ONLY by the popular vote is such an outrageous idea? :dahell:

Senators used to be chosen by Governors until the 17th Amendment was passed in the 1910s to allow Senators to be elected by the popular vote of the citizens of their respective states. So why can't we get rid of the EC? It makes no sense. Republicans just mad that most Americans don't rock with them (only "real Americans" do :mjpls:).

When Obama won twice I remember how Conservatives we’re mad at the EC.

With an unpopular incumbent POTUS, I feel the Dems have more paths to 270. While Trump has a narrow path.

Y’all keep saying this, but I look at 2016 as a referendum on race, and shyt has gotten worse. I’m actually prepared for a trump win as I expect more white people to vote white :yeshrug:

I'm prepared for Trump to win unlike 2016.

But if resources go to these states, the campaigns are robust, I mean, why not?
