Guys, most black people support Biden. We rag on @Warren Moon but that is who most black people are voting for, since March Break. Problem is we need to get our parents to reconsider. If you think that there won't be more gaffes during a Biden presidency, I have a river to sell you in British Columbia. I can see Joey easily making Macron's wife squirm.

glad people are starting to ask about how stutterers are taught to not fixate on the words they’re about to stutter on. One of the main ways to do that is to change your thought process to a new subject

to most it seems to be rambling. But rewatch the video, whenever he starts stuttering he changes the subject. That’s one of the methods for stutterers to not stutter.

It’s a disability. But it shouldn’t preclude him from being president. He’s talked about it openly for decades
:dwillhuh:

If nothing else I’ll go to bat for you for them to hire you on their campaign staff. I don’t know what the fukk I just read from you, but that was top shelf.

I still think if Bernie had said that same thing, for the same reasons as you said, that we’d never hear the end of it on mainstream media. The fact that this might as well be a bad lip reading video and isn’t being covered at all offline says a lot IMO.

If you genuinely are backing Biden that’s fine. To me, I feel like he’s being put up there as a prop. I get very little from him in terms of any passion to actively try to improve the lives of everyday Americans.

Personally I think Trump would tear him up on an exhausting campaign trail and I don’t want that to happen.

But I’ll look into the stuttering thing for sure.

Some of y'all talking about Kamala as if she is the Devil reincarnated or something. I actually looked at a lot of her record and it's not nearly bad as some people are making it out to be. Amy Klobuchar has had a harsher prosecutorial record especially against Black men but yet she's still in the race and I don't her people bring up her record constantly. Why is that? :patrice:

Every single Democratic candidate has flaws. There is NO "perfect" candidate. Never has and there never will be. Obama wasn't "perfect" (he was a good/great candidate but not perfect) and he turned out to be a damn good President especially considering that he had to deal with GOP obstruction for 6 years out of his 8 year Presidency.

It's obvious that many Democratic voters (of all racial backgrounds) just want another White savior to "save" America from Trump and that we can "return back to normal" :martin:.

My parents who are both Black and are 55 & 56 years old respectively support Joe Biden because he's a "moderate who can win back some of those Trump voters". They didn't support Kamala because "America isn't ready for a Black woman as President". When I asked them why? They both basically had no answer. They don't support Warren because "Look at Hillary, America isn't ready for a female President". They also have no answer as to why they care about "winning back" some of those Trump voters and "swing" voters :unimpressed:.

Sh!t is sad. I'm not saying that everybody had to support Kamala or anything but the fact that the non-White candidates have got way less funded than the White candidates shows where many Democratic voters hearts are. This was the most racially diverse field in history not even one non-White candidate is even in the top 3. Yang ain't going nowhere no matter what his "#YangGang" online or IRL think.

He’s been the headline speaker for the American Institute for Stuttering multiple times. All before he ran for president.

he’s been talking about it for a decade

He starts stuttering 30 seconds into this video a decade ago. He also repeats himself and changes the subject repeatedly

most ppl never noticed bc Obama made sure most of the time Biden had a teleprompter or paper to read off of. :yeshrug:

My dad is 57 and he’s been in the US since the late 70s and seen in real time how America changed when Reagan got in. He became a citizen during George HW Bush term so he voted Clinton as his first vote.

He doesn’t believe in Biden at all though. He said he’s seen this guy run 3 times and every time he doesn’t have it or do well.

And Biden is running a lazy ass campaign.

Speaking of Yang, he’s the only non-White candidate now that’s polling in the top 5-6. And he raised $2M on Thanksgiving week. So he’s got something there. He may win delegates in the early states. Which, if I’m Bernie, I’m concerned because Yang is drawing Bernie 2016 support.

Also, there was a real possibility that Yang could have outperformed Kamala in California.

Some comments I saw on Twitter.

Also, I've seen a couple of those "Kamala is a cop" memes but I NEVER seen a "Drill Sargent Amy" meme. Not once.

Kamala is up to be criticized like everybody else, of course. However, she definitely received harsher treatment than her White counterparts.

That definitely factored into why she didn't received enough funding and is no longer in the race.

I saw a segment on CNN where one of the analysts said that "Klobuchar could rise up and take Kamala's place". You just have to laugh :russ:

It is what it is though :manny:.

I know people in Kamala's camp. Everything I'm seeing indicated they were gaining ground in some states. This had to be strategic.
had to beat the deadline to get her name off the california ballot. cant afford to get sonned by finishing 4th or 5th in her own state and then having everybody else in cali licking their chops at her senate seat

shot. chaser.

this is all this was about. When her hand picked DA lost the San Fran race Harris knew that she was next.

the importance of local races is again being drowned out by national politics.

The California primary actually would've been Kamala running to save her seat.

I'm not really all that happy that she dropped out because I don't think she actually understands why people didn't agree with her politics.
