Trump and Co. mobilizing for a mass deportation of black people to the motherland. "Oh, you don't know where you're from? Are you sure you're American?"
Isn't what y'all really wanted to begin with? to "come back home"?

Maybe I'm paranoid, but could the Trump administration be doing this in preparation to deport people who cannot prove their right to live in the United States?
I say this because, I live in England and right now we are just finding out our Tory government destroyed the evidence that an entire generations of carribeans immigrated here legally. (Windrush scandal - Wikipedia)
Think twice before volunteering such information to the government, they do not have your best interests at heart.
I'm confused. They already use Hispanic/Latino as an ethnicity on the census & other legal/registration forms. So how are they gonna make it both a race & ethnicity at the same time?None of this is being done for the full benefit of AAs.
They are asking White people their origins as well and I suspect this has to do with the former proposal under Obama that was going to combine "Hispanic and Latino" into a race and ethnicity.
That would have resulted in a further decrease the recorded size of the white population .
This way they can still count Hispanic people as either black or white (they're mostly white) and with the additional questions determine How black or White they are when it comes to drawing up districts and allocating funds.
It refers to black united states natives.Great. So aside from the overtones in general, now I'll have to listen to heads arguing whether "African-American" refers to immigrants from African countries or black Americans. Lovely.

It isn't that hard to find out if you come from African Slaves that were brought to the United States.
Most AA's claim this but rarely any of us show native ancestry in the DNA ...
