Caribbean American organizations were asking for this regarding their own ethnicity option around 15 years ago.

You have a link that supports this? I saw something about a Carribean organization in Miami seeking their own census entry, but that article is from 2010.

I was speaking to a man that is apart of the census bureau and he was telling me that the form is going to remain the same asking if you’re “black/African American “ which I think is not fair to African Americans and foreign black who are from and identify with their country of origin. Blackness does not revolve around AAs and foreign blacks have no ties to AA history or culture. If what he told me is true then the census bureau fumbled this badly.

What happens if you 20% cac
Still black/ADOS, if you don't like it. You can always go back to the country you(or your parents) ran away from. Build it up So you don't have to deal with us.

But it's a 99% that won't happen

I get that youre excited at the prospect of a sweet reparations check from the US treasury and it has gone to your head..but youre still weird and highly insecure, why get defensive at a basic question that will eventually arise when the white man is asked to open up his coffers.

No one is even talking about people going back to their countries, or not liking Ados or not wanting to deal with Ados..get your head out of your ass, where do you even get that from? :dwillhuh:

Did the white man instill a good education in you well by telling your Ados ass to go back to Africa when you were growing up? :hhh:

Because you're taking the exact same privileged position as the group that actually controls America, but you're not part of that group or even a decision maker, let alone a king maker in the scenario. You get paid reparations if they think you should, not if you say you should. Learn to tell the difference.

Yet you carry the same attitude and disposition that hispanics display towards Ados..people that want your ass to disappear forever :scust:

In the Silver Lining
"that question is difficult, if not impossible, for many U.S.-born African-Americans to answer."

This is what bothers me. I can't answer this question. Don't know what my background is.

just put afro-American or african-American

fukk that census:yeshrug:

That's all you can say.
If you are of 400 year AA stock, then that's all you need to put. Please don't throw in ancestry.com or 21andme numbers on there. That shiit said I was this African country percentage first time and 2 years later they send update saying Im something else as a percentage.

Real Talk though. Those DNA companies were only just getting started in 2010 or so..
..they have collected 10s of millions of people's saliva specimen since then. So how will people fill ot out with this new information that has its own issues. Are white folks who look like Jimmy Fallon and find out they are 3% West African gone claim African American? Etc etc :patrice:

You made that post to jab at ADOS your ass is not slick.

@underline: No nikkas just functioning different and yall mfs dont like that because it makes you nikkas uncomfortable and were drawing lines now. And reparations is affected by both us wanting it, voicing our opinion, fighting for it, and opinions as well as other factors. Thats more than what you nikkas have where yall dont even own your own resources. So you have no wiggle room to try to mock us when you nikkas are the Chinese, and Cacs bytch.

@bolded: Hispanics are a bunch of jealous bytches that envy us. IDGAF how they feel

Cause you asked a stupid azz question. If you'd been following ADOS at all you'd already know this shyt been gone over already.

"we propose two criteria for eligibility: first an individual would have to provide reasonable documentation that they had at least one ancestor who was enslaved in the United States; and, second, an individual would have to demonstrate that at least 10 years before the onset of the reparations program they self-indentified as black, African American, colored or Negro on a legal document."

pg 336, the second paragraph.
