Think he's talking about RJ Barrett. I believe he's originally a 2018 kid.

Oh yeah, Barrett nice too but I don't know how I feel about him compared to Bagley and them. Meant 2019 in terms of the NBA.

The more I watch of him, the more it becomes clear to me that DSJ will either be the best or second best player out of this draft. I soured on him during the season, but watching clips of him now I feel like an idiot for ever buying into the media narrative on him and doubting him. He's got every tool you need to be an elite player in the modern NBA.

My current big board is

Fultz
Dennis Smith Jr
Josh Jackson
Lonzo Ball
Malik Monk
Lauri Markkanen
DeAaron Fox
I agree.
Smith Jr is a better prospect than Fox. Fox is good but he can't shoot well enough in today's NBA.
Ball is still gonna be the best day 1 19 y.o. day 1 but his potential isn't as high as many think it is but I do think with the Lakers, he could be special in the long term. They have the right system and players around him.

Fultz is clearly #1.

Jackson is still too raw to me. But his potential is very high.

Monk is a top 10 prospect but his fit in what Philly has is going to be elite. He will be the perfect fit their.

Lakers have the right system but not the right players for Ball. He needs shooters around him, the Lakers really have none. He's not the type a dude who is gonna suck in the defense and then create offense for other people.

My thing with Jackson is he has one tool that is very likely to be elite in the NBA, which is his defense.

To me, DSJ and Fultz will be elite scorers.

I can't say that any other prospect has a definite skill that will translate at an elite level to the NBA, they are all flawed, and many do have a chance to be great, but DSJ/Fultz scoring and Jackson's defense are the only ones I can say with confidence that I'm very sure will translate to the NBA.
