I think Boston should move down. Especially if they don't get the #1 selection.

I don't think Fox will be gone at 7, and there is a possibility Tatum will still be on the board there too although not as likely.

Boston = Fultz
LA = Ball
Suns = Jackson
NY = Monk or Fox
Philly = Fox or Monk
Orlando = Tatum

All based on team need and those are the consensus 6 who "should" be nice, After that its injury concerns, internationals, and players who will likely need development. They traded Cousins and I could see them moving up just for the optics of having one of those guys.

It makes the most sense, Phil would use him like he did Pippen, the height/skillset just screamed something that Phil would value over PGs, which he's never been a big fan of.

If Josh didn't show positive signs of being a playmaker I doubt he'd look at him like that, but I wouldn't be shocked if they got the 1 and took him first.

I wouldn't be shocked either I seem them tanking to make #4 to increase their chance to get him. If he's gone before they pick I think they will consider moving down. even Mills going to the game for kentucky vs UCLA is a distraction in my opinion.

McLemore
Stauskas
Traded for Hield

They need a PG, and the best shooter in the draft is Monk who will no doubt workout as a PG and try to use the Steph Curry "I can be a PG" approach in workouts.

I think you're giving Vivek too much credit, they have Monk written all over them if Philly can't get him.

If Monk approaches the workouts as anything other than a combo guard he will not succeed in the NBA. The Kings can't make up for the lack of passing at other positions. As good of a shooter as Monk is, the team becomes really easy to guard. Hield's gonna be behind the 3 point line every night like :feedme:if they can't add passing to that team

Breh, you're smarter than Vivek at basketball fitment, the thing is he's obsessed with the Warriors. You're looking at this from a logical sense of what they actually need, he's going to see the shooting, see he's 6'2 ish and think he'll be able to run the point, or at the very least they'll think they can turn him into a true PG.

In his mind Monk + Hield = Potential to be Curry/Klay, I mean they already think Buddy has Curry talent.

Purely a spite pick on Phil's part if he did that

Nah, look at Phil's history and you'll see his teams always had an initiator on offense that was 6'6+ (Pippen, Kobe, Odom). Josh projects out to being a point forward, so it makes sense Phil would look at him as the best prospect in the draft.

But again if he was really obsessed he'd know they pass a lot. 5 guys who operate in isolation doesn't scream Warriors basketball. Vivek has to give Joerger his version of Conley.

If Monk turns out to be running somebody's PG spot in the NBA they'll be looking to replace him in a year and wasting his talent. Matter of fact, Vivek was around Golden State when they had Monta Ellis and Curry together. When that didn't work, someone had to go. Why would Vivek wanna relive that?

It makes basketball sense to want Jackson, but he also knows it's the "fukk Melo" move that will cause Melo to wanna go elsewhere.

Bro Melo is damn near gone already..... Even if they don't draft a SF.

The Knicks should tank again at least 1 more season and he's about to be looking to earn his next deal next season because he always opts out early........

its crazy the Bulls arent stealth tanking right now

they could have got to that 9th slot, instead we'll miss playoffs on the last two days of the season and be 14th
