I know. That's why I said STAR potential. Not superstar.

There are no future superstars in this draft.

The closest guy is Lonzo Ball. That's why he's my #1 overall pick.

At least if you build a team around Fultz you can have a Houston-type squad. He can be the #1 guy in a similar role to Harden or a Westbrook.

You can build around Lonzo I suppose but he can't be your #1 option. I don't see him ever becoming the type of scorer like a CP3. Ball would work with the Lakers though.

Build a team around Tatum and see what happens. You'll look like the Pacers for the next decade.

I don't see him getting to PG's level. I'm really intrigued to who we view as a better player in 5 years between him and Miles. Jayson is more polished as a scorer but Miles has special type of athleticism.

With Tatum I think he eventually has a better offensive game than PG. I don't see him ever becoming anywhere close to the defender as George, but he might be a better passer.

I'm not sure how I feel about Bridges though. I always say he reminds me of Josh Smith. He's also a good passer. I have been wanting him to get a better mid-range game so he can make more use of his athleticism though.

I don't know if Fultz will be the main option on a title team either but that's not a knock

There's like 2 or 3 of those in the whole league and that might be stretching it

Tatum has a really polished offensive game but his athleticism leaves you wanting more. I think he can be Rudy with a bit more passing ability. He made a few passes during the ACC tournament which were great.

Bridges has to get more creative with his handle and less stiff with his handle. Jayson has way better creation ability with the ball and numerous ways to get a bucket. Miles doesn't have that right now.

I'm not as high on Miles as most, but I do like a lot about his game. The only problem between him and Tatum is that Bridges is pretty limited at the next level.

He's essentially locked as a 3, and even then he lacks a lot that is required of playing the position, and same with the 4.

Tatum at least has the tools to become a great defender if he wants, and to play either forward position. I think Bridges works well with a team like the Nuggets.

Fultz could be one

No. He'll be the Michael Beasley bust special of this class.

I still remember in 2008 how everyone was convinced Beasley would be a star in the league cause he put up monster stats in college. I said he would be a bust cause he was undersized as a PF and not athletic or skilled enough to be a SF.

Fultz is in the same boat. He ain't big or athletic enough to be a SG and he's not skilled enough as a passer to be a PG. Best case scenario is he's Damian Lillard.
And I don't even consider Lillard a star. He's just a good player.

Markelle Fultz = mad overrated

Fultz is not the athlete Russ is and doesn't have the size Harden does. We'll see what he measures but he looks 6'3" to me. And not very explosive.

I think his closest comp is a slightly taller Damian Lillard.

Good player but no one I want to build my team around.

That's only cause we're living through one of the weakest eras in NBA history.

In the early to mid 00s you had 8-10 legit superstars who could be 1st opinions on championship teams.

Kobe
Shaq
Duncan
Dirk
KG
Iverson
J-Kidd
T-Mac
C-Webb
Pierce

The league was way more talented back then.
