They've drafted Ben McLemore, Nik Stauskas and traded for Buddy Hield, they will never have enough shooting. Also, I would think they'd draft him under the idea they can make him a PG, Vivek is obsessed with the Warriors and having a Hield / Monk backcourt will speak to his soul.
:mjlol: Vivek has said some retarded stuff and has his hands in the cookie jar, so maybe :yeshrug:
But you can make a good shooter you can't make a good all around pg

I think the Kings will try and trade for Monk if they can't draft him outright, their obsession with shooting and him being by far the best shooter in the draft at a position they need?
they can love shooting all they want. Someone has to pass them that rock. Monk ain't a PG and if they think they have time to see if he can be a PG by the time his 2nd contract begins they're gonna bury themselves and it'll just lead to them having to choose between Monk and Hield.

If Vivek was really obsessed with Golden State he'd realize that the Warriors have defined positions for their players.

i'm a huge fan of grayson, but even I'm surprised that nbadraft.net moved him into the first round on their most recent mock after having him late first in 2018.

he has NBA athleticism sometimes and his streaky shooting

but we all know it's because of his hustle play, that's why they love him. He won't be able to guard anyone on the next level and i don't think he'll get his shot off either.

In my mock I have him going to the Nets at I think 26. Big board is just how I rank guys based off of their skills/potential and some other things.

I think Brooklyn will give him a shot just because he has such a high ceiling if he can manage to stay healthy and show some flashes of his old self. Plus, Brooklyn did something similar last year with LeVert who was a lottery talent without the injuries, they are willing to take risks to acquire assets.

it's true.

in my eyes, it's comparable to how in recent years NFL teams have taken RB's coming off injury relatively early because of their draft stock falling. the problem with that is it's high reward but high risk because giles could either turn out to be a stud like todd gurley or possibly never play again like marcus lattimore (who ironically also had two knee injuries)...but when you can get a potential top 5-10 talent at the end of the 1st round and your team is hurting for talent, you kinda have to take that chance...

and I don't fault giles for going pro this year and taking that guaranteed cash cause one more pop of a knee and he's done. I honestly believe that he shows out in the tournament though and flashes the potential that we've been waiting to see since he knows these are his last games to showcase himself and prove that he's still got the talent that made him the #1 recruit in the nation.

eh, he's actually been a very good 1 on 1 perimeter defender when healthy, but his help defense stinks. not to mention that people said the same thing about redikk that you just said about allen, but allen is bigger and much more athletic than redikk ever has been. not the consistent shooter that redikk is, but he'll easily be able to get some of the same shots that redikk gets/takes. when i watch him play, he's actually more ginobili-lite than anything. i think the spurs look at him late first if he plays decently in the tourney.

How much higher is Monk's ceiling than Jamal Crawford?:patrice:

I'm starting to think Fox will be the better pro:patrice:

Not a Fultz fan tbh. I don't see it with him.

I think Lonzo Ball is underrated cause of his unorthodox jumper and the style of play in HS. I think he's gonna be special.

Giles knees scare me.

I think Tatum is overrated.

I think Josh is the cream of the crop
Well I was wrong about Fultz. Giles isnt a lottery pick. Tatum grew on me a little but is still overrated. And I still think Josh and Lonzo are just special
