Duke is really about to have Gabriel, Tatum, Jackson and Giles in their 2016 class...:wow:
Gabriel continues to impress. Top 15 prospect no doubt

The 2 championship teams are STACKED:
Team Rose 4-0
Alkins
DeLaurier
Adebayo
Kegler
Simmons
L. Ball
F. Jackson
I. Anigbogu
J. Allen
M. Heron

Team Wall 4-1
Smith
Ferguson
Pritchard
Blackwell
Azubuike
D. Davis
Guy
Fulkz
Huell

I'm esp looking for the Pritchard - Smith vs Ball/Jackson and Azubuke vs Adebayo match ups :blessed:
Great to see Ball out of his usual atmosphere as well

Smith isn't playing he hurt his leg yesterday. It should still be entertaining.

I just saw the Adidas Nations 3rd place game and Alpha Diallo and Mamadou Diallo were excellent. I'd not heard of them but they have to be at least top 20 based on what I saw in this single game. Trevon Duval played really well too.

Here is my early top 21 for 2016.
Anyways without further ado:
1. Jayson Tatum - I know most ppl consider Giles number 1 but Tatum has really impressed me. Has been unstoppable and i do think he will improve his range as he gets older. Once he does he will be unstoppable like a prime T-Mac

2. Harry Giles

3. Josh Jackson

4. Malik Monk

5. De'Aaron Fox - really love Fox

6. Lonzo Ball - hard to rank but has been impressive every time I watched against good competition. Passing "savant" but also underrated athlete. Should really be able to take it to the next level once he plays in a more structures system.

7. Rawle Alkins - most impressive player overall in the Adidas camps this summer. A more skilled Lance Stephenson/Tyreke Evans hybrid.

8. Udoka Azubuike - if the Sept 99 birthdate is real, he is a beast!!!

9. Dennis Smith

10. Tony Bradley

11. Jarrett Allen - Bradley and Allen are 2 personal favorite big men who just have the right tools around the basket but still young enough to improve.

12. TJ Leaf

13. Javin DeLaurier

14. Wenyan Gabriel - the 2 guys that really have came on during this summer and are continually improving are Delaurier and Gabriel. Gabriel has grown about 4 inches to 6'9 and might end up as high as 6'11, in that Giannis mold.

15. Payton Pritchard

16. Markelle Fultz

17. Trent Forest

18. Thon Maker

19. Jarron Cumberland

20. Alterique Gilbert

21. Jonathan Isaac

Jackson dropped 50 at Big Strick Classic
I understand it's impressive no matter what but it was an all star game setting (no interior D being played, final score 159-137), he got hot from 3 which has been a strength of his in the past plus he was easily the biggest talent there

Damn, Dennis Smith tore his ACL at Adidas Nations, I figured something was up how hush hush everyone was about the extent of his injury. The comparison everyone makes with him is Baron Davis, unfortunately now it is more than just his game.

well fukk...was looking forward to him tearing up his senior year...these kids play way too many games year round. Just read that Duke's team doc did his surgery and is also the guy who did harry giles' before. He should recover, but hopefully his quicks/explosion come back and hopefully he's mentally tougher than D rose. Still hoping for duke to land him although I think NC State is the favorite; I feel he and thornton could co-exist.

EDIT: and baron davis is a terrible comparison...dude is a more explosive damian lillard with some DRose mixed in

He will never be the shooter that Lillard is. I'd say John Wall as the obv comparison.
Anyway updated top 20 for 2016 in OP

I think more guys will emerge over the next few years but so far the 2017 hs class is not as deep as the 2016 hs class. It may be more top heavy tho.
My top 6:
1. DeAndre Ayton
2. Wendell Carter
3. Michael Porter
4. Jarred Vanderbilt
5. Gary Trent
6. Troy Brown
All have top 5 pick potential plus there are guys like Dzanan Musa coming from europe.

Also Damion Lee transfers to Louisville from Drexler amd I think he is a sleeper potential 1st rounder. The guy can really play.
