I don't like this at all.
Ya not surprising tho
More surprising is DeJounte Murray not only entering but already hired agent. This Years Rashad Vaughn.
I hear with the new rules, like literally all of D1 bball will enter though. Because now you can enter and withdraw as much as you want. So guys will go in for some work outs just to test the waters, see their stock temperature and maybe impress enough to where they end up staying in draft but if not just come back. Rinse, repeat.

I saw Lawawu a little at some Fiba youth tourney a few years back. Wasn't super impressed, don't remember much tbh. Haven't seen him play this year but everything I read, plus stats plus highlights. I'm thinking he might be a big time sleeper. He is so much quicker than everyone in Adriatic league, it looks like a HS highlight tape of a future pro bowl running back or something. Plus his jumper is kind of awkward but he shoots 38% on a lot of attempts. Considering this weak draft plus the premium on 3/D wings, i think he is a sleeper. Btw, his team just advanced to the finals of the Adriatic l eague. Not quite the Spanish or Russian league but still some solid players there. At 20 years old, it's impressive to lead your team to the finals

Kris Jenkins is a JR so he will prob play one more year for Nova but he should be able to make an NBA roster down the line and make a career. As long as he doesn't get really fat, i mean Anthony Morrow and Steve Novak have been in the league for years

I know this is mostly a prospects thread but I think it applies to the future of the NBA in general.
Well there is a break in college ball until the final 4 and the dikks HS nationals are about to start.
So i decided to do a current NBA player related mini project. After some digging thru the line up plus/minus stats on Basketball reference I came up with 8 of the most intriguing teams/line ups for the next few years. Future projection and youth plays a part here so these arent the best line ups or teams necessarily but being successful certainly helps. Also this doesn't take into account future free agents, team salary projections or future draft picks. Pretty much which current line ups are the most intriguing over the next few years.

I will do two teams a day because I don't want do a huge write up and plus add some suspense to this "intriguing" list.

8. Wizards
Gortat
Morris
Porter
Beal
Wall

This line up has only played about 130 minutes together but have been ridiculously good. If you look at just Morris/Beal/Wall, they have 208 minutes together. Scoring 116 points per 100 poss and out scoring opponents by about 17 points per game. The sample size is still small and they are shooting around 46% from three as a group while playing together. I'm not sure they can keep that up and Gortat is already 32. So i put them at 8 but certainly interesting team to watch in the future and even now if they get in the playoffs.

7. Jazz
Gobert
Favors
Hayward
Hood
Mack
Well they seem to have finally found their PG with Mack but honestly if you look at the main 4 guys with Burke or even Neto the results are about the same. As long as the 2 bigs stay healthy and Hood continues to develop his playmaking they are going to be a team to watch for a long time. I'm a huge fan, going to get a Hood jersey if they make the playoffs.

Next 2 intriguing teams/line ups

6. Heat
Whiteside
Deng
Winslow
Richardson
Dragic
This is the Heat line up for the future, although Dragic is 30 and Deng is 31. Still Deng is fairly replaceable and Dragic had really come on post all star. Almost seems like Wade and Bosh are holding them back. They need to keep Whiteside at all costs this summer. Another line up with a small sample size and some really hot shooting but Richardson and Winslow are rookies and should develop nicely.

5. Blazers
Plumlee
Aminu
Harkless
McCollum
Lillard
I know Vonleh starts but he really sucks and maybe I will eat my words one day but I doubt anything ever comes of him. Plus this line up gives them even more spacing and versatility. I really think this is their line up of the future as the NBA continues to get smaller and quicker. Really tough to stop these 5 with McCollum and Lillard in the backcourt and the constant motion. If Aminu gets more consistent shooting threes and Plumlee improves his D; watch out.

Edit: sorry about font sizes. I'm copy pasta of my phone

I think Stephen Zimmerman will move up the board during practices. He was in a bad situation at unlv

I think he's a much more fluid athlete then those two. Good passer also and has some touch

He has some interesting skills on offense, but he's got a lot of work to do on the defensive end

and that elbow could really limit him

It's so close between the 2 I'm really not sure. I wanna see the measurements but they prob won't participate in the combine

Probably depends on who gets the pick too. I think they're close enough to where if you pick one over the other it's because of need

Neither one is so above the other where you'll say screw need this guy is by far the best player in taking him anyway scenario
