Don't know how true it is, but i've heard that we are actually 80 years ahead of our time with technology or some shyt, so it could be plausible that them studio execs already knew what was coming down the pipe.

IDK if it's or not but i had an ole head tell me when he was in desert storm he he ran across some devices that were similar to the IPAD while unloading a truck.

Most of all the technology today ..NASA and the military had it wayyy before.... Like in th 60s and 70s

I like part 1 over 2. 2 was great, but him having to go back to the same past as before knocks it off a bit.

I could see why that may turn off some people but you gotta admit, that shyt was on how immaculate they recreated the scenes.

I watched this side to side video of Pt 1 & 2 of those scenes...it's pretty much in sync with each other.

that's what made part 2 good for me.. the way they recreated the scenes but with just different angles was amazing.. especially for 1989...
