Ehh per isn't a great measure of success, Cory Joseph had a really poor PER in college but he has turned out to be somewhat of a steal for the Spurs. Also PER seems to favor big men at the college level.

Still if a player played for a top 25 team in a major conference and had a PER near 30 as a freshman, they are almost guaranteed to be good. Anthony Davis, Cousins, Durant, Karl Towns, Kevin Love .. Michael Beasley is like the exception that proves the rule

PER favors big men in general

And if we draft Okafor he's Eddy Curry. Yet if I say something everyone here's gonna bytch about why I'm not excited about the #1 pick.

Does Flip really control the team to the extent he can go against all logic and take Okeafor or is this just the 24 hr news cycle?

Also I hear you saying Pekovic may not come back how true is that because if so the insurance should kick in and pay his contract right?

Your first question, yes. This is not a democracy, as he said recently.

Your second question, he's gonna try, but he's gonna miss a chunk of next season and early reports are that rehab isn't going that well. Insurance would cover the rest if he has to medically retire but that's TBD

I hear the Grizzilies are really high on my boy Dakari Johnson at that 27th pick. I feel like he didn't have a very good second year at kentucky but that he still had some potential in him. The problem is going to be overcoming his flat-footedness.

Dakari isn't worth a 1st round pick tbh
